พ่อเมืองภูเก็ตกำชับทุกภาคส่วนเพิ่มมาตรการรักษาความปลอดภัย เฝ้าระวังระดับสูงสุดพร้อมขอความร่วมมือพี่น้องประชาชนช่วยกันสอดส่อง ดูแลพื้นที่พบเห็นสิ่งผิดปกติแจ้งเจ้าหน้าที่โดยด่วน      

นายจำเริญ ทิพญพงศ์ธาดา ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต ให้สัมภาษณ์ภายหลังประชุมหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องหลังเกิดเหตุระเบิด 2 จุดในพื้นที่ป่าตองอำเภอกะทู้ จังหวัดภูเก็ตเช้าวันนี้ว่า ได้สั่งการและกำชับให้นายอำเภอทั้ง 3 อำเภอ ปรับแผนสนธิกำลังกับท้องถิ่นผู้นำชุมชนในพื้นที่เพิ่มมาตรการดูแลความปลอดภัยตั้งแต่จุด check point เข้าสู่เกาะภูเก็ตเอ๊กซเรย์พื้นที่ตรวจค้นให้เข้มข้นมากขึ้นโดยเฉพาะในพื้นที่ที่มีผู้คนอยู่ร่วมกันมากๆ อาทิ สนามบิน ห้างสรรพสินค้า สถานีขนส่ง ตลาดนัด ท่าเรือทุกแห่ง รวมทั้งสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวสำคัญสำคัญขอให้ดูแลเป็นพิเศษ  รวมทั้งสถานที่ราชการให้มีเวรยามตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง พร้อมทั้งได้สั่งการให้ทุก อปท.ตรวจสอบกล้อง cctv ให้อยู่ในสภาพที่ใช้งานได้ ในส่วนพื้นที่สาธารณะต่างๆขอให้มีไฟฟ้าระบบแสงสว่างให้เพียงพอ นอกจากนี้ได้ขอความร่วมมือพี่น้องประชาชนช่วยกันสอดส่องดูแลเฝ้าระวังพบเห็นสิ่งผิดปกติหรือบุคคลที่มีพฤติกรรมต้องสงสัยขอให้แจ้งเจ้าหน้าที่โดยด่วน ขออย่าตระหนก แต่มาช่วยกันดูแลเฝ้าระวัง เพราะภูเก็ตเป็นเมืองแห่งสันติสุขและเป็นเมืองท่องเที่ยวระดับโลก
