จังหวัดภูเก็ตประชุมคณะอนุกรรมการศูนย์ปฏิบัติการป้องกันและปราบปรามการค้ามนุษย์

เมื่อวันที่ 8 ธันวาคม 2559 ที่ห้องประชุมศาลากลางจังหวัดภูเก็ต นางศิวพร ฉั่วสวัสดิ์ รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานการประชุมคณะอนุกรรมการศูนย์ปฏิบัติการป้องกันและปราบปรามการค้ามนุษย์จังหวัดภูเก็ต ครั้งที่ 8/2559 เพื่อติดตามผล / แผนการดำเนินงาน ปีงบประมาณ 2559 และวางกรอบแนวทางการดำเนินงานปีงบประมาณ 2560 โดยมีหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องเข้าร่วม

นางศิวพร ฉั่วสวัสดิ์ กล่าวว่า ปัญหาการค้ามนุษย์ของจังหวัดภูเก็ตยังถือว่าไม่มาก โดยส่วนใหญ่จะเกี่ยวข้องกับแรงงานภาคประมง ส่วนการค้าประเวณีหรือขอทานยังพบน้อย โดยให้แต่ละหน่วยงานบูรณาการประสานข้อมูลการทำงานร่วมกัน และให้แต่ละหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องหาแนวทางป้องกันการปราบปรามการค้ามนุษย์ เพื่อให้การแก้ไขปัญหาเกิดผลในระยะยาว
ทั้งนี้จังหวัดภูเก็ตได้มีการบูรณาการดำเนินงานป้องกันและปราบปรามการค้ามนุษย์ของหน่วยงานเครือข่ายทุกภาคส่วน ซึ่งได้มีการวิเคราะห์ถึงสภาพแวดล้อมตามบริบทของพื้นที่ โดยได้วางแนวทางที่ควรติดตามให้มีการป้องกันและปราบปรามการค้ามนุษย์ใน 5 ประเด็นได้แก่ 1.ด้านแรงงาน 2.ด้านขอทาน 3.ด้านการบังคับค้าประเวณี 4.กลุ่มโรฮินจา และ 5.ด้านการดูแลสุขภาพในกลุ่มเสี่ยงต่อการค้ามนุษย์
