โรงพยาบาลวชิระภูเก็ต ร่วมกับผู้ประกอบการภาคเอกชนในพื้นที่ป่าตอง จังหวัดภูเก็ต จัดกิจกรรมรับบริจาคโลหิต ครั้งที่ 6 เพื่อถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่พระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดช ในวันจันทร์ที่ 14 พฤศจิกายน 2559

นายโชคชัย เดชอมรธัญ ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต ระบุในการแถลงข่าว โครงการผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต พบสื่อมวลชน เมื่อวันที่ 7 พ.ย. 59 เกี่ยวกับกิจกรรมรับบริจาคโลหิต ครั้งที่ 6 ว่า เป็นกิจกรรมที่ดีโดยจากข้อมูลพบว่า มีการตอบรับจากประชาชนเป็นอย่างดีมีประชาชนร่วมบริจาคโลหิตเพิ่มขึ้นทุกครั้ง ในครั้งนี้ถือเป็นครั้งที่ 6 ที่มีความพิเศษ เป็นการบริจาคโลหิต เพื่อถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่พระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดช โดยกำหนดจัดกิจกรรมในวันจันทร์ที่ 14 พฤศจิกายน 2559 เวลา 10.00-15.00 น. ณ โรงแรมสลีพวิธมี ดีไซน์โฮเทล แอท ป่าตอง และเป็นกิจกรรมที่จะสำรองโลหิตเพื่อช่วยเหลือผู้ป่วยในพื้นที่จังหวัดภูเก็ต

นายสิทธิชัย ธนากรเจริญ รองกรรมการผู้จัดการโรงแรมสลีพวิธมี ดีไซน์โฮเทล แอท ป่าตอง ระบุว่า กิจกรรมรับบริจาคโลหิต เพื่อถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่พระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดช ในครั้งนี้ เป็นความร่วมมือ ของธนาคารเลือด โรงพยาบาลวชิระภูเก็ต ร่วมกับโรงแรมสลีพวิธมี ดีไซน์โฮเทล แอท ป่าตอง และหน่วยงานภาคเอกชนได้จัดตั้งหน่วยเคลื่อนที่รับบริจาคโลหิตจากประชาชนทั่วไป เพื่อถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่พระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดช ด้วยสำนึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณหาที่สุดมิได้ รวมทั้งเพื่อจัดหาโลหิตสำรองไว้สำหรับผู้ป่วยในโรงพยาบาลอย่างเพียงพอและทันท่วงที เพื่อรองรับในช่วงฤดูกาลท่องเที่ยว รวมถึงในช่วงเทศกาลคริสต์มาสและเทศกาลปีใหม่ ที่กำลังจะมาถึง เนื่องจากในแต่ละปีจะมียอดผู้ป่วยและผู้ประสบอุบัติเหตุในช่วงเทศกาลดังกล่าวเป็นจำนวนมาก
