เมื่อวันที่ 5 พฤศจิกายน 2558 เวลา 14.00 น. ที่ห้องประชุมสึนามิ (POC) ศาลากลางจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายจำเริญ ทิพญพงศ์ธาดา ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต พร้อมด้วย นายขจรเกียรติ รักพานิชมณี รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต หัวหน้าส่วนราชการ และหน่วยงานต่างๆที่เกี่ยวข้อง ร่วมประชุมผ่านวีดีทัศน์ทางไกล กับ พลเอกอนุพงษ์ เผ่าจินดา รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงมหาดไทย เพื่อรับทราบแนวทางปฏิบัติและการขอรับการสนับสนุนการจัดกิจกรรมในด้านต่างๆ ทั้งในด้านการอำนวยการและพิธีการ การประชาสัมพันธ์ การลงทะเบียนและการจัดขบวน การรักษาความปลอดภัย การจัดแสดงนิทรรศการเฉลิมพระเกียรติ รวมถึงประเด็นปัญหาและอุปสรรคต่างๆ ของการจัดกิจกรรมจักรยานเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว เนื่องในโอกาสมหามงคลเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา 88 พรรษา 5 ธันวาคม 2558 “ปั่นเพื่อพ่อ”BIKE FOR DAD ที่จะจัดพร้อมกันทั่วประเทศในวันศุกร์ที่ 11 ธันวาคม นี้

สำหรับการจัดกิจกรรม “ปั่นเพื่อพ่อ”BIKE FOR DAD ของจังหวัดภูเก็ต ขณะนี้มียอดผู้ลงทะเบียนเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมทั้งสิ้นกว่า 3,000 คน รวมถึงมีการจัดทำป้ายประชาสัมพันธ์ ทั้งทางเข้า-ออก จังหวัด สถานที่ราชการ หน่วยงาน สถานศึกษา และองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นทั่วทั้งจังหวัด เพื่อประชาสัมพันธ์ให้ประชาชนได้รับทราบถึงการจัดกิจกรรมดังกล่าว ในส่วนของการจัดเตรียมกิจกรรมเสริมนั้น จังหวัดภูเก็ตได้มุ่งเน้นการจัดกิจกรรมในรูปแบบของ “บวร” คือ บ้าน วัด โรงเรียน โดยมุ่งเน้นให้นักเรียน ครู อาจารย์ มาร่วมกันจัดกิจกรรมเสริม ณ บริเวณจุดเริ่มต้น และจุดสิ้นสุด เช่น การแสดงของเด็กเยาวชน นักเรียน นักศึกษา การแสดงโขน การรำถวายพระพร และในส่วนของจุดพักขบวนที่บริเวณวัดไชยธาราราม หรือ วัดฉลอง นั้นจะเป็นกิจกรรมการปลูกต้นไม้มงคล ต้นราชพฤกษ์ จำนวน 88 ต้น ทั้งนี้สามารถลงทะเบียนเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมได้ที่ www.BIKEFORDAD2015.comหรือลงทะเบียนได้ด้วยตนเองที่ศาลาประชาคมจังหวัดภูเก็ต ตั้งแต่บัดนี้จนถึงวันที่ 10 พฤศจิกายน 2558
