พิธีลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ และประชุมคณะทำงานขับเคลื่อนคุณธรรม ความซื่อตรงในองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น ครั้งที่ 5  ระหว่างศูนย์คุณธรรม (องค์การมหาชน) หน่วยงานองค์กรภาคี และเครือข่ายองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น ทั้งนี้ เพื่อเป็นการขับเคลื่อนกระบวนการสมัชชาคุณธรรมและแผนพัฒนาความซื่อตรงแห่งชาติ พ.ศ.2557-2558 อีกทั้งเป็นเครื่องมือและแนวทางในการขับเคลื่อนคุณธรรมความซื่อตรงของสังคมไทยในกลุ่มเครือข่ายเป้าหมาย 7 กลุ่ม เพื่อให้เกิดความร่วมมือเชิงนโยบายระหว่างหน่วยงาน และการเชื่อมโยงเครือข่ายการทำงานร่วมกันแบบบูรณาการ

โดยการประชุมในครั้งนี้ มีการบรรยายพิเศษ เรื่อง “บทบาทของท้องถิ่นกับการปฏิรูปด้านคุณธรรม จริยธรรม และธรรมาภิบาล” ปาฐกถาพิเศษ เรื่อง “ค่านิยมไทยกับการส่งเสริมคุณธรรมตามบริบทในชุมชนท้องถิ่น” และการลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือฯ ประกอบด้วย ผู้แทนองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น 31 องค์กร รวมทั้ง อบจ.ภูเก็ต และผู้แทนหน่วยงานองค์กรภาคี 7 องค์กร ได้แก่ สำนักงานคณะกรรมการป้องกันและปราบปรามการทุจริตแห่งชาติ กระทรวงวัฒนธรรม สภาพัฒนาการเมือง สำนักงานผู้ตรวจการแผ่นดิน กรมส่งเสริมการปกครองท้องถิ่น คณะกรรมการกระจายอำนาจให้แก่องค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น และศูนย์คุณธรรม (องค์กรมหาชน).
