พัฒนาการบริหารจัดการศึกษาในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาให้เป็นที่ยอมรับและทัดเทียมกับมาตรฐานนานาชาติ

เมื่อวันที่ 26 สิงหาคม 2558 เวลา 10.30 น.ที่โรงแรม ภูเก็ตออร์คิด รีสอร์ท แอนด์ สปา อ.เมือง จ.ภูเก็ต พลเอกสุทัศน์ กาญจนานนท์กุล ที่ปรึกษา รัฐมนตรีช่วยว่าการกระทรวงศึกษาธิการเป็นประธานเปิดงาน Education Hub Academic Festival 2015 และค่ายนักเรียนในโครงการEducation Hub โดยมีนายนิสิต จันทร์สมวงศ์ ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต ผู้บริหาร เจ้าหน้าที่สำนักงานคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน (สพฐ.) ศึกษานิเทศก์จากสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษา คณะครูและนักเรียนในโรงเรียนที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม จำนวน 14 โรงเรียน จากทั่วประเทศกว่า 500 คน เข้าร่วม

พลเอกสุทัศน์ กาญจนานนท์ ที่ปรึกษารัฐมนตรีช่วยว่าการกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ กล่าวว่า จากการที่สำนักงานคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน (สพฐ.) กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ ได้ดำเนินโครงการ Education Hub เพื่อพัฒนาการบริหารจัดการศึกษาในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาให้เป็นที่ยอมรับและทัดเทียมกับมาตรฐานนานาชาติ เป็นศูนย์กลางการศึกษาในภูมิภาคซึ่งเป็นโครงการพิเศษที่จะพัฒนาสถานศึกษาให้เป็นโรงเรียนชั้นนำ ตามแผนปฏิบัติการไทยเข้มแข็ง เพื่อพัฒนาผู้เรียนให้เป็นพลโลกที่มีคุณภาพ และมีศักยภาพความเป็นเลิศสู่สากล ให้สามารถแข่งขันได้ในระดับนานาชาติ โดยการจัดทำและพัฒนาหลักสูตรตามมาตรฐานของต่างประเทศเพื่อยกระดับประเทศไทยเป็นศูนย์กลางการศึกษารับการเปิดประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียนหรือ AEC ภายใต้การจัดการโรงเรียนใน 3 รูปแบบ ได้แก่ โรงเรียนที่ใช้หลักสูตรจากต่างประเทศ โรงเรียนที่ใช้หลักสูตรพหุภาษาและโรงเรียนวิทย์-คณิต สองภาษา ทำให้ขณะนี้มีโรงเรียนในโครงการทั้งสิ้น 14 โรงทั่วประเทศ ได้แก่ โรงเรียนโยธินบูรณะ กรุงเทพมหานคร, โรงเรียนยุพราชวิทยาลัย จังหวัดเชียงใหม่, โรงเรียนสตรีภูเก็ต จังหวัดภูเก็ต, โรงเรียนโพธิสัมพันธ์พิทยาคาร จังหวัดชลบุรี, โรงเรียนแม่สายประสิทธิ์ประศาสตร์จังหวัดเชียงราย, โรงเรียนสรรพวิทยาคม จังหวัดตาก, โรงเรียนนารีนุกูล จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี, โรงเรียนปทุมเทพวิทยาคาร จังหวัดหนองคาย, โรงเรียนจุฬาภรณราชวิทยาลัย มุกดาหาร จังหวัดมุกดาหาร, โรงเรียนประสาทวิทยาคาร จังหวัดสุรินทร์, โรงเรียนกันทรลักษ์วิทยา จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ, โรงเรียนพิชัยรัตนาคารจังหวัดระนอง, โรงเรียนหาดใหญ่รัฐประชาสรรค์ จังหวัดสงขลา และโรงเรียนจุฬาภรณราชวิทยาลัย สตูลจังหวัดสตูล

“การบริหารจัดการโรงเรียนภายใต้โครงการ Education Hub นี้ ได้มีการสนับสนุนสื่อการเรียนการสอนให้สอดคล้องกับรูปแบบและหลักสูตรพัฒนาผู้บริหาร ครู และบุคลากร ให้สามารถบริหารจัดการแบบองค์กรสมัยใหม่ และจัดการเรียนการสอนได้ตามมาตรฐานสากล นอกจากนี้ สพฐ. มีแผนดึงดูดนักเรียนจากประเทศเพื่อนบ้านให้เข้ามาศึกษาต่อระดับมัธยมศึกษาในโรงเรียนของ สพฐ. ที่ตั้งอยู่ตามชายแดนระหว่างประเทศไทยและประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน รวมทั้งดึงดูดชาวต่างชาติให้ส่งลูกเข้าเรียนต่อในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาที่ตั้งอยู่ตามจังหวัดใหญ่ๆ ที่มีชาวต่างชาติเข้ามาอาศัยอยู่จำนวนมาก โดยให้โรงเรียนที่ได้รับการคัดเลือกจัดการเรียนการสอนเป็นภาษาอังกฤษที่มีมาตรฐานสากลระดับนานาชาติ ในฐานะที่เป็นศูนย์กลางการศึกษาอาเซียนของไทยอีกด้วย” พลเอกสุทัศน์ กล่าว
