สำนักงานเกษตรจังหวัดภูเก็ตร่วมกับองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลไม้ขาว จัดโครงการคลินิกเกษตรเคลื่อนที่ในพระราชานุเคราะห์ฯ สมเด็จพระบรมโอรสาธิราชฯ สยามมกุฎราชกุมาร 
เมื่อวันที่ 24 ธันวาคม 2558  เวลา 11.30 น. บริเวณแปลงนาบ้านไม้ขาวหมู่ที่ 4 ต.ไม้ขาว อ.ถลาง จ.ภูเก็ต นายขจรเกียรติ รักพานิชมณี รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานเปิดงานโครงการคลินิกเกษตรเคลื่อนที่ในพระราชานุเคราะห์ฯ สมเด็จพระบรมโอรสาธิราชฯ สยามมกุฎราชกุมาร ซึ่งทางสำนักงานเกษตรจังหวัดภูเก็ตร่วมกับองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลไม้ขาว ชุมชนบ้านไม้ขาว และหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องจัดขึ้น โดยมีหน่วยงานในสังกัดกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ สำนักงานสาธารณสุขจังหวัดภูเก็ต สำนักงานส่งเสริมการศึกษานอกระบบและการศึกษาตามอัธยาศัยจังหวัดภูเก็ตองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลไม้ขาว ผู้นำชุมชน สถานศึกษา และประชาชนในพื้นที่เข้าร่วม

นายปารเมศ ทองปรีชา เกษตรจังหวัดภูเก็ต กล่าวว่า ด้วยกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ กำหนดให้จังหวัดภูเก็ต จัดทำโครงการคลินิกเกษตรเคลื่อนที่ อันเป็นโครงการฯ ที่สมเด็จพระบรมโอรสาธิราชฯ สยามมกุฎราชกุมารทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้ารับโครงการไว้ในพระราชานุเคราะห์ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้เกษตรกรที่มีปัญหาด้านการเกษตรในพื้นที่ห่างไกล สามารถเข้าถึงการบริการทางวิชาการ และได้รับการแก้ไขปัญหาด้านการเกษตรครบวงจรในคราวเดียวกัน โดยบูรณาการความร่วมมือระหว่างหน่วยงานวิชาการ หน่วยงานส่งเสริมและหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง

ในการให้บริการและแก้ไขปัญหาทางการเกษตรร่วมกันพัฒนาฟื้นฟูเกษตรกร ให้สามารถทำการผลิตทางการเกษตรได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ และยั่งยืน ในการจัดงานโครงการคลินิกเกษตรเคลื่อนที่ในพระราชานุเคราะห์ฯตามแผนปกติของจังหวัด (ไตรมาสที่ 1) กระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ได้จัดทำโครงการคลินิกเกษตรเคลื่อนที่ในพระราชานุเคราะห์ฯ พร้อมกันทั่วประเทศ ระหว่างวันที่ 1 ตุลาคม ถึงวันที่ 31 ธันวาคม 2558 โดยจังหวัดภูเก็ตได้กำหนดจัดขึ้นที่บริเวณแปลงหน้าบ้านไม้ขาว หมู่ที่ 4 ต.ไม้ขาว อ.ถลาง โดยจัดร่วมกับงานเกี่ยวข้าวบ้านไม้ขาวขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลไม้ขาว และชุมชนบ้านไม้ขาว ซึ่งเป็นประเพณีที่จัดติดต่อกันมาทุกปี โดยมีกิจกรรมสำคัญ ได้แก่ คลินิกเกษตรเคลื่อนที่ในพระราชานุเคราะห์ฯ การจัดนิทรรศการของส่วนราชการและชุมชน กิจกรรมเก็บเกี่ยวข้าว การบริการตรวจสุขภาพเบื้องต้นและการจำหน่ายสินค้าของชุมชน
