ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต ตรวจติดตามการให้บริการนักท่องเที่ยวของท่าเรือตามมาตรการควบคุมดูแลความปลอดภัยแก่นักท่องเที่ยวทางทะเล ณ ท่าเรือสินแสงรัตน์ ตำบลรัษฎา อำเภอเมืองภูเก็ต

เมื่อวันที่ 20 มกราคม  2559 นายจำเริญ ทิพญพงศ์ธาดา ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต พร้อมด้วย นายภูริพัฒน์ ธีระกุลพิศุทธิ์ ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานเจ้าท่าภูมิภาคสาขาภูเก็ต นางบุษยา ใจเปี่ยม ประชาสัมพันธ์จังหวัดภูเก็ต และเจ้าหน้าที่ที่เกี่ยวข้อง ร่วมลงพื้นที่ท่าเรือสินแสงรัตน์ ตำบลรัษฎา อำเภอเมืองภูเก็ต เพื่อตรวจติดตามการให้บริการนักท่องเที่ยวด้วยการใช้กล้อง CCTV ในการตรวจนับผู้โดยสารก่อนลงเรือ เพื่อความสะดวกในการดูแลความปลอดภัย และสร้างความเชื่อมั่นในการสัญจรทางทะเลแก่นักท่องเที่ยว

นายจำเริญ ทิพญพงศ์ธาดา ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เปิดเผยว่า ความเสี่ยงในการสัญจรทางน้ำมีแน่นอน แต่ภูเก็ตมีมาตรการในการดูแลความปลอดภัยที่มีมาตรฐาน ซึ่งตนได้ให้นโยบายในเรื่องมาตรการควบคุมดูแลความปลอดภัยแก่นักท่องเที่ยวทางทะเล ด้วยการนำระบบเทคโนโลยีที่มีอยู่มาบริหารจัดการให้เกิดประโยชน์ โดยสั่งการให้สำนักงานเจ้าท่าภูมิภาคสาขาภูเก็ต นำกล้อง CCTV มาติดตั้งที่หน้าท่าของท่าเรือต่างๆ เพื่อทำการตรวจเช็คผู้โดยสารทั้งก่อนและหลังการขึ้นลงไปท่องเที่ยว ยังเกาะแก่งต่างๆ ทั้งนี้เรือทุกลำจะต้องไม่บรรทุกน้ำหนักเกิน รวมถึงคนเรือและนักท่องเที่ยวทุกคนจะต้องสวมเสื้อชูชีพตลอดการเดินทาง

สำหรับท่าเรือสินแสงรัตน์ เป็นท่าเรือแห่งแรก ที่สำนักงานเจ้าท่าภูมิภาคสาขาภูเก็ต ทำการติดตั้งกล้อง CCTV ที่หน้าท่า ตามนโยบายของผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต ซึ่งบรรยากาศการใช้บริการเรือสปีทโบ้ท ตลอดช่วงเช้าวันนี้ (20 ม.ค.59) มีนักท่องเที่ยวชาวจีน มาลงเรือจากภูเก็ตเพื่อไปท่องเที่ยวยังเกาะพีพี และเกาะไข่ เป็นจำนวนมาก โดยทุกคนให้ความร่วมมือกับเจ้าหน้าที่ในการแสดงพาสปอร์ต ต่อหน้ากล้องและระบุว่ามีความมั่นใจในการใช้บริการ และพอใจการทำงานของเจ้าหน้าที่.
