ความก้าวหน้าโครงการพัฒนาท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต ปีงบประมาณ 2553 – 2557

นางมนฤดี เกตุพันธ์ ผู้อำนวยการท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต เปิดเผยว่า ตามที่มีการก่อสร้างโครงการพัฒนาท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต บริษัท ท่าอากาศยานไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) (ทภก.ทอท.) ปีงบประมาณ 2553 – 2557 ขณะนี้โครงการมีความคืบหน้าแล้วร้อยละ 86.81 %  งานที่ก่อสร้างเสร็จเรียบร้อยแล้ว มี งานก่อสร้างทางขับ, งานหลุมจอดอากาศยานและงานระบบเติมน้ำมันทางท่อ 10 หลุมจอด, งานก่อสร้างอาคารทดแทนและสนับสนุน ได้แก่อาคารสำนักงาน ท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต  อาคาร GSE CARGO อาคารดับเพลิงและกู้ภัย อาคารบำบัดน้ำเสีย, งานก่อสร้างระบบสาธารณูปโภค, งานก่อสร้างถนนและทางยกระดับ, งานติดตั้งสะพานเทียบเครื่องบิน 4 หลุมจอด   ส่วนงานก่อสร้างอาคารผู้โดยสารระหว่างประเทศได้ดำเนินการแล้ว 98.59 %

ท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ตได้กำหนดทำการตรวจรับงานตามสัญญาว่าจ้าง ในสาระสำคัญส่วนใหญ่และจะทำการทดสอบระบบเที่ยวบินขาเข้าเที่ยวแรกของอาคารผู้โดยสารระหว่างประเทศ ท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต(หลังใหม่) ในวันอาทิตย์ที่ 14 กุมภาพันธ์ 2559 โดยจะทำการทดสอบด้วยเที่ยวบินของสายการบินไทย เที่ยวบินที่ TG 609 เส้นทางฮ่องกง – ภูเก็ต หลังจากนั้นจะมีการทดสอบทุกระบบร่มกันอีกครั้ง เพื่อสร้างความมั่นใจว่าหากมีการย้ายเที่ยวบินระหว่างประเทศไปให้บริการยังอาคารผู้โยสารระหว่างประเทศหลังใหม่ จะมีความสมบูรณ์และสามารถให้บริการได้อย่างต่อเนื่อง ทั้งนี้ ท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต คาดว่าจะสามารถเปิดให้บริการอาคารผู้โดยสารระหว่างประเทศหลังใหม่แบบเต็มรูปแบบได้ในวันที่ 1 มิถุนายน 2559 ซึ่งจะส่งผลให้ ท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต เพิ่มศักยภาพในการรองรับผู้โดยสารได้มากขึ้นจาก 6.5 ล้านคน ต่อปี เป็น 12.5 ล้านคนต่อปี

นางมนฤดี กล่าวเพิ่มเติมว่า นอกจากการเร่งการก่อสร้างตามโครงการพัฒนา ท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต แล้ว ยังได้เตรียมความพร้อมของแผนการตรวจสอบมาตรฐานท่าอากาศยาน เพื่อรองรับการตรวจสอบจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐที่เกี่ยวข้องด้วย โดยได้เตรียมแผนรวบรวมข้อมูล เช่น แผนการปรับปรุงคู่มือการปฏิบัติงาน SOP (Standard of Procedures) และอื่นๆ เพื่อส่งให้สำนักงานการบินพลเรือนแห่งประเทศไทยตรวจสอบ มาตรฐานด้านการรักษาความปลอดภัย มาตรฐานด้านสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกในการเดินอากาศ มาตรฐานด้านความปลอดภัยอาชีวอนามัยและสภาพแวดล้อม ซึ่งจะดำเนินการตรวจสอบไปพร้อมกับระบบงานต่างๆที่แล้วเสร็จก่อนตามลำดับ นอกจากนี้ ท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต จะจัดสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก ร้านค้า ร้านอาหาร และบริการที่หลากหลายเพื่อสร้างความพึ่งพอใจให้แก่ผู้ใช้บริการ ณ ท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต อีกด้วย
