ภูเก็ตประชุมจัดเก็บข้อมูล จปฐ. และข้อมูลพื้นฐาน เพื่อพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตประชาชน
เมื่อวันที่ 12 พฤศจิกายน 2558  เวลา 13.30 น.ที่ห้องประชุมคอซิมบี้ ศาลากลางจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายประเจียด อักษรธรรมกุล รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานการประชุมคณะทำงานการบริหารจัดเก็บข้อมูลความจำเป็นพื้นฐาน (จปฐ.) (เขตชนบท) และการจัดเก็บข้อมูลพื้นฐาน (เขตเมือง) ประจำปีงบประมาณ 2559 ระดับจังหวัด โดยมี นางวรรณธนา ไฝสีดำ พัฒนาการจังหวัดภูเก็ต หัวหน้าส่วนราชการ ผู้บริหารองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น และหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง เข้าร่วม

นางวรรณธนา ไฝสีดำ กล่าวว่า จังหวัดภูเก็ต ได้กำหนดให้การนำข้อมูลความจำเป็นพื้นฐาน (จปฐ.) ไปใช้ประโยชน์ในการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของประชาชนจังหวัดภูเก็ต โดยกำหนดให้การใช้ประโยชน์จากข้อมูล จปฐ. เป็นวาระในการประชุมประจำทุกเดือนของที่ประชุมกรมการจังหวัดและหัวส่วนราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เพื่อให้การดำเนินงาน แก้ไขปัญหาและพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตประชาชน ตามเกณฑ์ข้อมูล จปฐ. ที่สำรวจปี 2558 เกิดประสิทธิภาพและเห็นผลเป็นรูปธรรม จังหวัดจึงได้มอบหมายให้ผู้รับผิดชอบตัวชี้วัดข้อมูล จปฐ. เขตชนบทและข้อมูลพื้นฐาน เขตเมือง ที่ได้รับมอบหมาย ดำเนินการสนับสนุน ส่งเสริม แก้ไขตัวชี้วัดที่ไม่ผ่านเกณฑ์ที่รับผิดชอบ เพื่อพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตเป้าหมายให้ดีขึ้น พร้อมทั้งต้องรายงานผลการดำเนินงานให้สำนักงานพัฒนาชุมชนจังหวัดภูเก็ตทราบ ภายในวันที่ 20 ของทุกเดือน เพื่อให้สำนักงานพัฒนาชุมชนจังหวัดภูเก็ตได้นำเสนอให้ที่ประชุมกรมการจังหวัดรับทราบต่อไป

สำหรับข้อมูลความจำเป็นพื้นฐาน (จปฐ.) และข้อมูลพื้นฐาน เป็นข้อมูลที่สะท้อนถึงความเป็นอยู่ หรือคุณภาพชีวิตของคนไทยทุกครัวเรือนว่าในขณะนี้ มีสภาพความเป็นอยู่อย่างไร ซึ่งภาครัฐจะนำข้อมูลดังกล่าวนี้ไปวิเคราะห์ วางแผน แก้ไขปัญหา ได้ตรงกับปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้น โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้ประชาชนสามารถพัฒนาชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ของตนและครอบครัวให้มีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีอย่างน้อยผ่านเกณฑ์ความจำเป็นพื้นฐาน โดยมีเครื่องชี้วัดข้อมูล จปฐ.เป็นเครื่องมือ ทั้งนี้ประโยชน์ของข้อมูล จปฐ. นั้นจะทำให้ประชาชนทราบว่า ตนเองมีคุณภาพชีวิตเป็นอย่างไรผ่านเกณฑ์หรือไม่ผ่านเกณฑ์ใดบ้าง และไม่จำเป็นเสมอไปว่าคนรวยหรือคนคนที่อยู่ในเมืองใหญ่ จะมีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีเพราะคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีนั้นไม่ได้วัดที่รายได้เพียงอย่างเดียว ในส่วนภาคราชการและภาครัฐ จะสามารถทราบถึงปัญหาที่แท้จริงของประชาชนว่า ครัวเรือน หมู่บ้าน ตำบล อำเภอ จังหวัดใด มีปัญหาเรื่องอะไร เพื่อสามารถวางแผนการพัฒนาในด้านต่างๆ ได้ตรงกับปัญหาที่ชาวบ้านต้องการ และในส่วนภาคเอกชน จะสามารถนำข้อมูล จปฐ. มาใช้ในการตัดสินใจและวางแผนในการบริหารจัดการเพื่อลงทุนทางธุรกิจได้
