จังหวัดภูเก็ต เตรียมจัด Zoning ที่พักอาศัยให้แก่แรงงานต่างด้าวในเขตอำเมืองเพื่อการจัดระเบียบให้ด้านคุณภาพชีวิตการอยู่อาศัย

เมื่อวันที่ 16 มีนาคม  2559  ที่ห้องประชุม POC ศาลากลางจังหวัดภูเก็ต ดร. ประเจียด อักษรธรรมกุล รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานเปิดการประชุมจัด Zoning ที่พักอาศัยแรงงานต่างด้าวในเขตอำเมืองภูเก็ต โดยมี นายสุทธิพงศ์ สายสาคเรศ แรงงานจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายสาธิต กลิ่นภักดี ท้องถิ่นจังหวัดภูเก็ต ส่วนราชการ และภาคเอกชนที่เกี่ยวข้องเข้าร่วม

ดร. ประเจียด อักษรธรรมกุล กล่าวว่า ในการดำเนินการจัด Zoning ที่พักอาศัยแรงงานต่างด้าวในเขตอำเภอเมืองภูเก็ตที่ประชุมเสนอให้มีการจัดตั้งคณะกรรมการ โดยมีอำนาจหน้าที่เป็นผู้ดูแล รับผิดชอบ ในการดำเนินการสำหรับการจัดการเรื่องที่พักเป็นหลัก นอกจากนี้ควรมีการกำหนดเป็น Zoning ของแต่ละอำเภอในจังหวัดภูเก็ต เพื่อให้แรงงานต่างด้าวอยู่กันอย่างมีระบบระเบียบ มีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดี และสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกแก่ผู้ที่พักอาศัยรวมทั้งเรื่องน้ำเสีย ขยะ และสุขอนามัย เช่น การแพร่ระบาดของโรค ต่าง ๆซึ่งยังเป็นปัญหาอยู่ในขณะนี้ โดยขอให้หน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องเข้ามาดูแลและจัดการแก้ไขปัญหาดังกล่าวโดยเร็วที่สุด

ดร.ประเจียด ได้เน้นย้ำในที่เรื่องการจัด Zoning ของแรงงานต่างด้าวในพื้นที่เขตอำเภอเมืองภูเก็ต ซึ่งจะดำเนินการในส่วนของแรงงานกรรมกรเป็นหลักโดยให้ท้องถิ่นจังหวัดภูเก็ตประสานกับทางหน่วยงานท้องถิ่นในพื้นที่ในการปฏิบัติหน้าที่จัดการเรื่องดังกล่าวเพื่อติดตามในเรื่องของการกำหนด Zoning ของแต่ละพื้นที่ โดยให้มีการออกข้อบัญญัติในแต่ละพื้นที่ต่าง ๆ และจะมีการประชุมหารือในครั้งต่อไป
