องค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดภูเก็ต เตรียมจัดงานเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวฯ ในวโรกาสที่ทรงเจริญพระชนมพรรษา 87 พรรษา อย่างยิ่งใหญ่ 1-5 ธันวาคมนี้ ที่สะพานหิน ดึงบุคคลในภาพถ่าย ร่วมถ่ายทอดความรู้สึก ขณะเฝ้ารับเสด็จ เมื่อครั้งที่พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว เสด็จพระราชดำเนินไปทรงเยี่ยมราษฎรในพื้นที่ป่าตอง เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2502 ด้านผู้ว่าฯ ภูเก็ต เชิญชวนชาวภูเก็ตร่วมใส่เสื้อเหลือง ตลอดเดือนธันวาฯ

เมื่อวันที่ 24 พฤศจิกายน 2557 เวลา 14.00 น. ที่โรงแรมเมโทรโพล ภูเก็ต อ.เมืองภูเก็ต จ.ภูเก็ต นายนิสิต จันทร์สมวงศ์ ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต พร้อมด้วย นายไพบูลย์ อุปัติศฤงค์ นายกองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดภูเก็ต ร่วมแถลงข่าวการจัดกิจกรรมเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวฯ ในวโรกาสทรงเจริญพระชนมพรรษา 87 พรรษา ภายใต้โครงการ “ชาวภูเก็ตร่วมเทิดไท้องค์ราชันย์ 87 พรรษา” ซึ่งทาง อบจ.ภูเก็ต จัดขึ้น มีฝ่ายบริหาร สมาชิกสภา ข้าราชการ พนักงาน อบจ.ภูเก็ต แขกผู้มีเกียรติ สื่อมวลชน ร่วมรับฟังการแถลงข่าว  ณ โรงแรมเมโทรโพล ภูเก็ต อ.เมืองภูเก็ต จ.ภูเก็ต

การเปิดตัวบุคคลที่ปรากฏในภาพถ่าย ขณะเฝ้ารับพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวฯ เสด็จพระราชดำเนินเป็นการส่วนพระองค์ ไปทรงเยี่ยมราษฎร ต.ป่าตอง อ.กะทู้ จ.ภูเก็ต เมื่อวันพุธที่ 11 มีนาคม 2502 คือนางนวนศรี ทองเรน และนายเรวัช สมบัติ มาถ่ายทอดความรู้สึก ในขณะนั้น

นายไพบูลย์ อุปัติศฤงค์ กล่าวว่า ในปีนี้ อบจ.ภูเก็ต เตรียมดำเนินการจัดกิจกรรมเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวฯ ในวโรกาสที่ทรงเจริญพระชนมพรรษา 87 พรรษาอย่างยิ่งใหญ่สมพระเกียรติ เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้ทุกภาคส่วน รวมทั้งพสกนิกรในจังหวัดภูเก็ตได้มาร่วมถวายพระพรควบคู่กับการแสดงออกถึงความจงรักภักดี และความสำนึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณที่ทรงมีต่อประเทศชาติและพสกนิกรชาวไทยตลอดมา นับตั้งแต่เสด็จขึ้นครองสิริราชย์สมบัติเมื่อ พ.ศ.2489 รวมเวลา 68 ปี ในปีนี้ อบจ.ภูเก็ต จึงเตรียมจัดโครงการ “ชาวภูเก็ตร่วมเทิดไท้องค์ราชันย์ 87 พรรษา” ระหว่างวันที่1-5 ธันวาคม 2557 รวม 5 วัน ซึ่งเทศบาลนครภูเก็ตได้เอื้อเฟื้อพื้นที่บริเวณเวทีกลางสะพานหิน อ.เมืองภูเก็ต เป็นสถานที่จัดงานเช่นเดียวกับปีที่ผ่านมา โดยแนวคิดในกิจกรรมเฉลิมพระเกียรติปีนี้ เป็นนิทรรศการเฉลิมพระเกียรติ ที่เน้นถึงพระราชกรณียกิจ และพระมหากรุณาธิคุณที่ได้ทรงก่อตั้งโครงการส่วนพระองค์ในพระราชวังสวนจิตรลดา โครงการตามแนวพระราชดำริในภูมิภาคต่างๆ เช่น โครงการศูนย์ศึกษา 6 แห่งใน 6 ภูมิภาค ซึ่งเป็นต้นแบบการบริหารจัดการ เพื่อประโยชน์ด้านดำรงชีวิตและการประกอบอาชีพของราษฎรในแต่ละภูมิภาคอย่างเป็นรูปธรรมที่ยั่งยืนถึงทุกวันนี้ ทั้งนี้เพื่อสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงพระมหากรุณาธิคุณของพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวฯ โดยใช้ส่วนประกอบหลายรูปแบบทั้งภาพนิ่ง วีดีทัศน์ แบบจำลองรวมทั้งของจริงมาจัดแสดงให้ประชาชนได้ชมกันโดยตรง โดยไม่ต้องเดินทางไปหาดูจากแหล่งต่าง ๆ และครั้งนี้ ได้เปิดโอกาสให้ผู้ร่วมงานได้กล่าวถวายพระพรพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ในพื้นที่ที่จัดไว้ให้โดยเฉพาะด้วย ส่วนกิจกรรมอื่น ๆ ในช่วง 5 วัน ดังกล่าว มีการจัดแสดง และจำหน่ายสินค้าดีราคาไม่แพงให้เลือกซื้อหาติดมือกลับบ้านด้วย รวมถึงการออกร้านขายอาหาร การแสดงของศิลปินนักร้องยอดนิยมมาขับกล่อมทุกค่ำคืน เช่น “พาราดอกซ์” “กระแต อาร์-สยาม” “โดม และแกงส้ม-เดอะ สตาร์” เป็นต้น นายไพบูลย์ กล่าวในที่สุด

นายนิสิต จันทร์สมวงศ์  ได้กล่าวเชิญชวนประชาชนชาวภูเก็ต ร่วมกิจกรรมในส่วนของ อบจ.ภูเก็ต และรวมถึงกิจกรรมของจังหวัดภูเก็ต โดยร่วมกันทำบุญตักบาตรพระสงฆ์ 87 รูปในวันที่ 5 ธ.ค. 57 เวลา 06.00 น. ณ สวนเฉลิมพระเกียรติ 72 พรรษามหาราชินี ลงนามถวายพระพรชัยมงคล พิธีถวายสัตย์ปฏิญาณ เพื่อเป็นข้าราชการที่ดี และพลังแผ่นดิน ในเวลา 08.30-10.30 น. ณ ศูนย์ประชุมมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏภูเก็ต ร่วมจุดเทียนชัยถวายพระพร และร่วมร้องเพลง 9 เพลง เฉลิมพระเกียรติรพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวฯ ในเวลา 16.30 น. ณ บริเวณเวทีกลางสะพานหิน และขอเชิญชวนประชาชนร่วมใส่เสื้อเหลือง และประดับธงชาติไทย ธงตราสัญลักษณ์ประจำพระองค์ตลอดเดือน ธ.ค.นี้ เพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวฯ ในวโรกาสที่ทรงเจริญพระชนมพรรษา 87พรรษา
