เมื่อวันที่ 30 พฤษภาคม  2559  ที่บริเวณหมู่บ้านชาวเล หมู่ 2 ต.ราไวย์ อ.เมือง จ.ภูเก็ต ชาวเลราไวย์ ยังคงรวมตัวกันเฝ้าระวังบริเวณปากทางเข้าออก จุดที่มีข้อพิพาทระหว่างชาวเลกับบริษัทบารอนฯ ซึ่งล่าสุดเมื่อวันที่ 25 พ.ค.ที่ผ่านมาททางบริษัทได้นำคนงานพร้อมรถแบ๊คโฮขนก้อนหินขนาดใหญ่จำนวนมากมาปิดทางเข้าออกเส้นทางที่บ้านใช้เดินไปประกอบพิธีบาลัยและลงทะเลไปหาปลาจนเกิดการปะทะกันประมาณ 30 นาที กระทั้ง 2 ฝ่ายยอมถอยออกไปทิ้งรถแบ๊คโฮไว้ที่จุดเกิดเหตุและก่อนหน้านี้ทางบริษัทบารอนฯได้เจรจา ผ่านทางเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจไปยังกลุ่มชาวเลเพื่อต้องการเข้าไปนำรถแบ็คโฮออกจากพื้นที่แต่ชาวบ้านยื่นข้อเสนอให้เคลื่อนย้ายหินขนาดใหญ่ที่ปิดเส้นทางออกก่อนจึงยินยอมให้นำรถแบ๊คโฮออกไปได้ ซึ่งทางฝ่ายคนงานบริษัทบารอนยังไม่ยอมรับเงื่อนไขดังกล่าวจนต้องทิ้งรถแบ๊คโฮไว้ตั้งแต่วันที่ 25 พ.ค.ที่ผ่านมารวมกว่า 6 วันแล้ว

นายนิรัน หยังปาน ตัวแทนกลุ่มชาวเลราไวย์เปิดเผยว่า ตนและกลุ่มชาวบ้านได้รับแจ้งจากสายข่าวว่าวันนี้( 30 พ.ค.59) ทางบริษัทบารอนจะส่งคนงานเข้ามาเอารถแบ๊คโฮออกจากพื้นที่จึงมีการนัดรวมตัวกันเฝ้าสังเกตการณ์โดยมีพี่น้องชาวเลหลายรายที่ยอมหยุดงานในวันนี้ซึ่งในช่วงเช้าได้รวมกันกันประมาณ 200 คนแต่ก่อนเที่ยงวันเดียวกันฝนเกิดตกหนักลงมาชาวบ้านจึงแยกย้ายกลับเข้าหมู่บ้านแต่ยังมีการผลัดเปลี่ยนกันเฝ้าพื้นที่ครั้งละประมาณ 10-20 คน หากทางบารอนเข้ามาเอารถแบ๊กโฮโดยไม่นำก้อนหินออกด้วยยืนยันว่าชาวบ้านจะไม่ยินยอมพร้อมรวมตัวกันขัดขวางแต่ถ้าบารอนยอมนำก้อนหินขนาดใหญ่ออกเปิดเส้นทางให้เหมือนเดิม ชาวบ้านก็ยินดีให้ความร่วมมือ

อย่างไรก็ตามผู้สื่อข่าวลงพื้นที่สำรวจพบว่าตั้งแต่ช่วงเช้าจนถึงเวลา 16.00 น.วันนี้( 30 พ.ค.59) ยังไม่พบมีการเคลื่อนไหวของฝั่งคนงานบริษัทบารอนมีเพียงรายงานข่าวว่าเร็วๆนี้จะนำคนงานเข้ามามากกว่าทุกครั้งที่ผ่านมาเพื่อนำรถแบ๊คโฮคันดังกล่าวออกจากพื้นที่และมีการนำเครื่องจักรอื่นเข้ามาเพิ่มเติมอีกประมาณ 2-3 คัน ขณะเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจ สภ.ฉลอง และตำรวจภูธรจังหวัดภูเก็ตมีการเตรียมกำลังตำรวจไว้ประมาณ 200 นายเพื่อเข้าระงับเหตุในพื้นที่หากทั้ง 2 ฝ่ายมีการปะทะกันอีกนอกจากนี้มีรายงานข่าวว่า นายจำเริญ ทิพญพงศ์ธาดา ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ตได้ทำหนังสือขอความร่วมมือไปยังตัวแทนบริษัทบารอนฯให้ระงับการดำเนินการในที่ดินแปลงดังกล่าวไปพลางๆก่อนเพื่อลดปัญหาความขัดแย้งที่จะเกิดขึ้น.

    Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!|
