เมื่อวันที่ 10 กุมภาพันธ์  2559  เวลา  10.00 น. ที่ห้องประชุม ศาลากลาง จังหวัดภูเก็ต นายจำเริญ ทิพญพงศ์ธาดา ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานการประชุมคณะกรรมการพิจารณาบำเหน็จความชอบ กรณีพิเศษ ประจำปี 2557 และประจำปี 2558 แก่เจ้าหน้าที่ผู้ปฏิบัติงานด้านยาเสพติด โดยมี นายภาคภูมิ อินทรสุวรรณ ปลัดจังหวัดภูเก็ต พ.ต.อ.พินิจ ศิริชัย รองผู้บังคับบัญชาตำรวจภูธรจังหวัดภูเก็ต และหน่วยงานราชการที่เกี่ยวข้องเข้าร่วม

วาระที่ประชุมที่สำคัญว่าด้วยเรื่อง การพิจารณาบำเหน็จความชอบ กรณีพิเศษ ประจำปี 2557 และประจำปี 2558 แก่เจ้าหน้าที่ผู้ปฏิบัติงานด้านยาเสพติด สำหรับปีงบประมาณ 2557 ป.ป.ส. จัดสรรโควตาบำเหน็จความชอบกรณีพิเศษให้หน่วยงานในพื้นที่จังหวัดภูเก็ต จำนวน 44 คน และปีงบประมาณ 2558  ป.ป.ส. ได้จัดสรรโควตาบำเหน็จความชอบ ให้หน่วยงานในพื้นที่จังหวัดภูเก็ต จำนวน 41 คน มติที่ประชุมเห็นชอบให้คณะกรรมการพิจารณารายชื่อผู้ปฏิบัติงานด้านยาเสพติดที่ขอรับบำเหน็จความรับผิดชอบกรณีพิเศษ ประจำปี 2557 จำนวน 44 คน แยกเป็นประเภทโดยตรง 35 คน ประเภทเกื้อกูล 9 คน และประจำปี 2558 จำนวน 41 คน แยกเป็นประเภทโดยตรง 33 คน ประเภทเกื้อกูล 8 คน

ทั้งนี้ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต กำชับให้ ศอ.ปส.จ.ภก. ตรวจสอบความถูกต้องของคุณสมบัติผู้ได้รับบำเหน็จความชอบตามหลักเกณฑ์และรายละเอียด วิธีการปฏิบัติแนวทางการพิจารณาอีกครั้งหนึ่งก่อนเสนอให้ ประธานคณะกรรมการฯ พิจารณาลงนามรายงาน ศอ.ปส.มท.
