พ่อเมืองภูเก็ตเร่งรัดการเบิกจ่ายงบประมาณปี 2559 กว่า 163 ล้านบาท เน้นยุทธศาสตร์ด้านการท่องเที่ยว 
เมื่อวันที่ 20 ตุลาคม  2558  เวลา 13.30 น.  ที่ห้องประชุม ชั้น1 ศาลากลางจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายจําเริญ ทิพญพงศ์ธาดา ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานประชุมติดตามผลความก้าวหน้าการดำเนินโครงการตามแผนปฏิบัติราชการ ประจำปีงบประมาณ พ.ศ. 2559 โดยมี นายขจรเกียรติ รักพานิชมณี รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายนันทศักดิ์ บุนนาค หัวหน้ากลุ่มงานอำนวยการ สำนักงานจังหวัดภูเก็ต หัวหน้าส่วนราชการ รัฐวิสาหกิจ และหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง เข้าร่วม

สำหรับวาระการประชุมที่สำคัญ มีการติดตามผลการดำเนินโครงการตามแผนปฏิบัติราชการ ประจำปีงบประมาณ 2557 ที่ยังเบิกจ่ายยังไม่แล้วเสร็จ จำนวน 4 โครงการ งบประมาณ 36.3 ล้านบาท และการติดตามผลการดำเนินโครงการตามแผนปฏิบัติราชการ ประจำปีงบประมาณ 2558 อีกจำนวน 5 โครงการ งบประมาณ 14.9 ล้านบาท นอกจากนี้มีการติดตามผลความก้าวหน้าในการดำเนินโครงการตามแผนปฏิบัติราชการ ประจำปีงบประมาณ 2559 จำนวน 24 โครงการ จำนวนงบประมาณ 163.5 ล้านบาทเศษ โดยแยกเป็นโครงการ การแก้ปัญหาน้ำอุปโภคบริโภค จำนวน 3 โครงการ โครงการเพิ่มศักยภาพด้านการท่องเที่ยว จำนวน 16 โครงการ และในส่วนที่เหลืออีก 5 โครงการ จะเน้นทางด้านความมั่นคง ด้านการป้องกันแก้ไขปัญหายาเสพติด และด้านการเพิ่มศักยภาพการบริการผู้ป่วยฉุกเฉิน เป็นต้น

นายจำเริญ ทิพญพงศ์ธาดา กล่าวว่า งบประมาณปี 2559 จังหวัดภูเก็ตได้รับจัดสรรจำนวน 24 โครงการ งบประมาณ 163 ล้านบาทเศษ โดยจากนี้ไปขอให้ทุกหน่วยที่ได้งบประมาณเร่งเบิกจ่ายให้ได้ตามแผนงานที่วางไว้ พร้อมทั้งให้ดำเนินการโครงการให้เกิดประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด อย่างไรก็ตามตนเองจะติดตามผลความก้าวหน้าทุกโครงการ หากพบโครงการใดไม่มีความเคลื่อนไหวด้านการเบิกจ่าย ต้องเรียกมาพบ เพื่อสอบถามถึงปัญหา
อุปสรรคและจะได้หาแนวทางแก้ไขหรือปรับเปลี่ยนโครงการที่ดำเนินการไม่ได้เพื่อจะได้เกิดประสิทธิภาพด้านการขับเคลื่อนยุทธศาสตร์จังหวัดมากยิ่งขึ้น
