ททท.จับมือภาคเอกชนมอบรางวัลใหญ่ต้อนรับนักท่องเที่ยวคนที่ 26 ล้าน ในโครงการ “ทุกล้านลุ้นเที่ยว ฟรีเมืองไทย”

เมื่อวันที่ 20 พฤศจิกายน  2558 ที่ ท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติภูเก็ต นางกอบกาญจน์ วัฒนวรางกูร รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงท่องเที่ยวและกีฬา พร้อมด้วย นางจุฑาพร เริงรณอาษา รองผู้ว่าการด้านตลาดยุโรป แอฟริกา ตะวันออกกลาง และอเมริกา การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย (ททท)  ดร.ประเจียด อักษรธรรมกุล รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต พ.ต.ท.ศมพร กิตติพรสุรภา สารวัตรด่านตรวจคนเข้าเมืองท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติภูเก็ต นางสาวเกษร วิจิตรรัตนกุล ผู้จัดการภาค พื้นที่ภาคใต้ตอนบน  บริษัท ทรู คอร์ปอเรชั่น จำกัด (มหาชน) และนายสุวรรธนะ สีบุญเรือง ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายสื่อสารการตลาดและสร้างตราผลิตภัณฑ์ บริษัท การบินไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) ร่วมต้อนรับนักท่องเที่ยวที่เดินทางเข้ามาท่องเที่ยวประเทศไทยเป็นคนที่ 26 ล้าน ในปี 2558 ในโครงการ “ทุกล้านคน ลุ้นเที่ยวฟรีเมืองไทย”ซึ่งได้แก่ นายทอมมี่ เจฟสัน (Tommy Jeppsson) ชาวนอร์เวย์ ซึ่งเดินทางมาด้วยเที่ยวบิน TG205

ททท. ได้ประชาสัมพันธ์กิจกรรม “ทุกล้านคน ลุ้นเที่ยวฟรีเมืองไทย” ผ่านสำนักงาน ททท.ต่างประเทศ ทั้งทางสื่อออนไลท์และสื่อออฟไลน์ โดยจะมีการมอบบัตรโดยสารแบบอภินันทนาการ 2 ที่นั่งชั้นประหยัด เส้นทางไป-กลับ จากประเทศต้นทางมายังกรุงเทพฯ พร้อมที่พัก 5 คืน ทันทีที่นักท่องเที่ยวคนที่ 26 ล้าน เดินทางเข้ามาทางท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติของไทย นอกจากนี้นักท่องเที่ยวคนที่ 26 ล้าน ยังจะได้รับ สมาร์ทโฟน “ ทรู สมาร์ท 5.0” พร้อมซิม 4G ทัวร์ริสต์ อินเตอร์จากทรูมูฟเอชให้ใช้เน็ตฟรีไม่อั้น 7 วัน เพื่อเติมความสุขตลอดการเดินทาง

นางกอบกาญจน์ วัฒนวรางกูร รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬากล่าวว่า กิจกรรมครั้งนี้เป็นการกระตุ้นการตลาด และสร้างกระแสรับรู้เพื่อให้นักท่องเที่ยว รู้สึกว่า มีจำนวนผู้มาเที่ยวประเทศไทยเพิ่มมากขึ้น โดยคาดว่าเป้าหมายจำนวนนักท่องเที่ยวที่ตั้งไว้ 28.8 ล้านคนจะเกินเป้าอย่างแน่นอน โดยมีนักท่องเที่ยวเดินทางไปตามหัวเมืองที่สำคัญต่างๆของประเทศไทย อาทิ กรุงเทพฯ ภูเก็ต เชียงใหม่ และแสดงให้เห็นว่านักท่องเที่ยวที่มาเที่ยวประเทศไทย มีทุกชาติและมีการเติบโตอย่างต่อเนื่อง

ททท.คาดหวังว่า โครงการนี้จะช่วยสร้างความประทับใจและเชื้อเชิญให้นักท่องเที่ยวกลับมาท่องเที่ยวในประเทศไทยอีกครั้งภายใน 1 ปี ข้างหน้า อีกทั้งยังเป็นการสร้างกระแสการรับรู้ประเทศไทยในช่วงปีท่องเที่ยววิถีไทย (Discover Thainess Year) ซึ่งเป็นวาระแห่งชาติ และสร้างความเชื่อมั่นต่อการท่องเที่ยวในประเทศไทย ซึ่งจะช่วยผลักดันให้จำนวนนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติของปี 2558 เป็นไปตามเป้าหมาย 28.8 ล้านคน ได้อีกด้วย
