ทอท.ทดสอบ First Technical Flight ของอาคารผู้โดยสารระหว่างประเทศหลังใหม่สนามบินภูเก็ต และทดสอบอีก 60 วันก่อนเปิดเป็นทางการ 1 มิ.ย.59 เพิ่มขีดความสามารถรองรับผู้โดยสารได้จาก 6.5 ล้านคน เป็น 12.5 ล้านคน/ปี

นายนิตินัย ศิริสมรรถการ ผู้อำนวยการใหญ่ บริษัท ท่าอากาศยานไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ ทอท.กล่าวว่า ทอท. จะมีการทดสอบระบบด้านเทคนิคเที่ยวบินแรกในส่วนของเที่ยวบินขาเข้า หรือ First Technical Flight ณ อาคารผู้โดยสารระหว่างประเทศหลังใหม่ ท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ตในวันที่ 14 กุมภาพันธ์ 2559หลังจากนั้นจะมีการทดสอบระบบโดยใช้เวลาอีก 60 วันเพื่อสร้างความมั่นใจว่าหากมีการย้ายเที่ยวบินระหว่างประเทศไปให้บริการยังอาคารผู้โดยสารระหว่างประเทศหลังใหม่ จะมีความสมบูรณ์และสามารถให้บริการได้อย่างต่อเนื่อง โดย ทอท.ได้กำหนดเปิดให้บริการอาคารผู้โดยสารระหว่างประเทศหลังใหม่อย่างเป็นทางการได้ในวันที่ 1 มิถุนายน 2559 โดยท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต มีบทบาทสำคัญต่ออุตสาหกรรมการท่องเที่ยวในภาคใต้ โดย ทอท.ได้กำหนดตำแหน่งทางยุทธศาสตร์ (Strategic Positioning) ให้ เป็น “Gateway to the Andaman”

ในปีงบประมาณ 2558 ท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต ให้บริการเที่ยวบิน 82,000 เที่ยวบิน และผู้โดยสาร 12,538,042 คน ซึ่งสูงกว่าปีงบประมาณ 2557 คิดเป็นร้อยละ10.07 และ 11.19 ตามลำดับและในไตรมาสแรกของปี 2559 (ตุลาคม 2558 – ธันวาคม 2558) ให้บริการเที่ยวบิน 23,055 เที่ยวบิน ผู้โดยสาร 3,385,527 คน สูงกว่าระยะเดียวกันของปีงบประมาณ 2558 ร้อยละ 13.59 และ 10.47 ตามลำดับ และปัจจุบัน ท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต รองรับเที่ยวบินประมาณ 250 เที่ยวบินต่อวัน มีผู้โดยสารใช้บริการเป็นจำนวนกว่า 50,000 คนต่อวัน ขณะที่มีสายการบินที่ให้บริการเที่ยวบินระหว่างประเทศทั้งหมด 53 สายการบิน ซึ่งจากการที่ปริมาณการจราจรทางอากาศเติบโตอย่างต่อเนื่อง ทอท.ได้มีโครงการพัฒนาท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต ประกอบด้วย งานก่อสร้างทางขับและลานจอดท่าอากาศยาน งานก่อสร้างปรับปรุงขยายระบบเติมน้ำมันอากาศยานทางท่อ งานก่อสร้างอาคารผู้โดยสารระหว่างประเทศ (ซึ่งจะสามารถรองรับผู้โดยสารได้ประมาณ 5 ล้านคนต่อปี) งานก่อสร้างอาคารจอดรถยนต์ งานก่อสร้างอาคารสำนักงาน งานปรับปรุงอาคารผู้โดยสารเดิมเป็นอาคารผู้โดยสารภายในประเทศ งานก่อสร้างอาคารคลังสินค้า งานก่อสร้างอาคารบริการลานจอดและอุปกรณ์ภาคพื้น งานก่อสร้างอาคารสถานีดับเพลิงและกู้ภัย งานก่อสร้างระบบถนนภายในท่าอากาศยาน งานก่อสร้างระบบสาธารณูปโภคท่าอากาศยานและงานก่อสร้างอาคารสำนักงานส่วนบำรุงรักษา และคลัง ทภก.โดยคาดการณ์ว่าจะเพิ่มศักยภาพของ ทภก.ให้รองรับผู้โดยสารได้จาก 6.5 ล้านคน เป็น 12.5 ล้านคนต่อปี

นายนิตินัย กล่าวย้ำ ขณะนี้การก่อสร้างอาคารผู้โดยสารระหว่างประเทศหลังใหม่แล้วเสร็จเกือบสมบูรณ์ และเพื่อให้อาคารผู้โดยสารดังกล่าวเปิดให้บริการได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ทอท.จึงมีการแต่งตั้งคณะทำงานเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมการเปิดให้บริการอาคารผู้โดยสาร หลังใหม่ (Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer : ORAT) เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมองค์ประกอบทุกด้านที่เกี่ยวข้อง เช่นความพร้อมของการปฏิบัติการ การบริการ สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก บุคลากรของ ทอท.และหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการปฏิบัติงานและประกอบการในอาคารผู้โดยสาร ให้เป็นไปด้วยความเรียบร้อยและมีประสิทธิภาพ และได้กำหนดทดสอบระบบด้านเทคนิค หรือ First Technical Flight ในวันที่ 14 กุมภาพันธ์ 2559

นางมนฤดี เกตุพันธุ์ ผู้อำนวยการท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต กล่าวว่า ตามที่ ทอท.ได้มีดำเนินงานก่อสร้างตามโครงการพัฒนาท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต(ปีงบประมาณ 2553 – 2557) โดยได้มีการก่อสร้างอาคารผู้โดยสารระหว่างประเทศเพิ่มเติมอีก 1 อาคารนั้น ผู้รับจ้างได้กำหนดส่งมอบงานตามสัญญาจ้างในสาระสำคัญส่วนใหญ่ในวันที่ 14 กุมภาพันธ์ 2559 จะทำการทดสอบระบบภายในอาคารผู้โดยสารระหว่างประเทศเฉพาะขั้นตอนกระบวนการให้บริการผู้โดยสารขาเข้าของสายการบินไทย เที่ยวบินที่ TG 609 เส้นทางฮ่องกง – ภูเก็ต เวลาตามตารางการบิน 12.55 น. (First Technical Flight) และ ยังจัดกิจกรรมต้อนรับเพื่อสร้างความประทับใจให้กับผู้โดยสารขาเข้ากลุ่มแรกที่มาใช้บริการอาคารผู้โดยสารระหว่างประเทศในวันดังกล่าวด้วย

นอกจากนี้ ยังได้เตรียมความพร้อมของแผนการตรวจสอบมาตรฐานท่าอากาศยาน เพื่อรองรับการตรวจสอบจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐที่เกี่ยวข้องโดยได้เตรียมรวบรวมข้อมูล เช่น แผนการปรับปรุงคู่มือการปฏิบัติงาน (Standard of Procedures : SOP) และอื่นๆ เพื่อส่งให้สำนักงานการบินพลเรือนแห่งประเทศไทยตรวจสอบมาตรฐานด้านการรักษาความปลอดภัย มาตรฐานด้านสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกในการเดินอากาศ มาตรฐานด้านความปลอดภัยอาชีวอนามัยและสภาพแวดล้อม ซึ่งจะดำเนินการตรวจสอบไปพร้อมกับระบบงานต่างๆ ตามลำดับ และ ทภก.ยังได้จัดเตรียมสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก ร้านค้า ร้านอาหาร และบริการที่หลากหลายภายในอาคารผู้โดยสารระหว่างประเทศเพื่อสร้างความพึงพอใจสูงสุดให้แก่ผู้ใช้บริการ ทภก.อีกด้วย
