อบจ.ภูเก็ต ร่วมส่งเสริมโครงการสืบสานวิถีประมงพื้นบ้าน “บางเทาไนท์ฟิชชิ่งเกมส์ ครั้งที่ 22”

เมื่อวันที่ 28 มีนาคม 2558 เวลา 10.00 น. ที่บริเวณหาดบางเทา ตำบลเชิงทะเล อำเภอถลาง จังหวัดภูเก็ต นายนิสิต จันทร์สมวงศ์ ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดโครงการสืบสานวิถีประมงพื้นบ้าน การแข่งขันตกปลาการกุศล “บางเทาไนท์ฟิชชิ่งเกมส์ ครั้งที่ 22” ประจำปี 2558 โดย นายสรธรรม จินดา รองนายกองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดภูเก็ต กล่าวต้อนรับผู้เข้าร่วมงาน และนายเกชา เกราะเหล็ก ผู้ใหญ่บ้านหมู่ที่ 2 ตำบลเชิงทะเล ประธานชมรมเรือหางยาวอ่าวบางเทา ได้กล่าวรายงานถึงความเป็นมาของโครงการ ซึ่งมี นายสัญญา สิงห์ศรีดา สมาชิกสภา อบจ.ภูเก็ต ตลอดจนแขกผู้มีเกียรติ และประชาชน เข้าร่วมจำนวนมาก

นายเกชา เกราะเหล็ก ผู้ใหญ่บ้านหมู่ที่ 2 ตำบลเชิงทะเล กล่าวในฐานะประธานชมรมเรือหางยาวอ่าวบางเทาว่า “การแข่งขันตกปลาการกุศล “บางเทาไนท์ฟิชชิ่งเกมส์ ครั้งที่ 22” เป็นกิจกรรมประจำปีที่จัดต่อเนื่องกันมา เพื่อสืบทอดอาชีพการทำประมง ซึ่งเป็นอาชีพดั้งเดิมของคนในพื้นที่ โดยจังหวัดภูเก็ตได้เล็งเห็นและให้ความสำคัญในการสนับสนุนกิจกรรมต่างๆ ของชุมชนในท้องถิ่นมาโดยตลอด โดยเฉพาะโครงการที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการประกอบอาชีพดั้งเดิมของคนในจังหวัดภูเก็ต เพราะคนจังหวัดภูเก็ต การดำรงชีวิตในทุกวันนี้เปลี่ยนไปมาก อุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยว การประกอบอาชีพด้านการบริการนักท่องเที่ยวได้เข้ามาแทนที่ ทำให้เด็กรุ่นใหม่ไม่คุ้นเคยกับอาชีพดั้งเดิม สำหรับในพื้นที่แห่งนี้ นับเป็นพื้นที่ตัวอย่างที่น่ายกย่อง ที่ประชาชนในพื้นที่ ชมรมเรือหางยาวอ่าวบางเทา กลุ่มประมงพื้นบ้าน ได้ร่วมกันทำกิจกรรมประสานกับหน่วยงานภาครัฐ องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลเชิงทะเล และหน่วยงานภาคเอกชนในพื้นที่ โดยเฉพาะ บริษัทลากูน่า รีสอร์ท แอนด์ โฮเต็ล จำกัด (มหาชน) ซึ่งเป็นผู้สนับสนุนหลักในการจัดโครงการนี้ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ร่วมกันและนำรายได้จากการขายปลาทั้งหมดสนับสนุนเพื่อเป็นทุนการศึกษาของเยาวชนในพื้นที่”

นายสรธรรม จินดา รองนายก อบจ.ภูเก็ต กล่าวว่า “โดยสภาพพื้นที่ของตำบลเชิงทะเล ซึ่งมีพื้นที่ติดทะเลตลอดแนว จึงทำให้อาชีพประมงเป็นอาชีพที่อยู่คู่กับชุมชนมาตั้งแต่ต้น และถึงแม้ว่าปัจจุบันการท่องเที่ยวจะกลายเป็นอุตสาหกรรมหลักของจังหวัดภูเก็ต แต่ผู้ประกอบอาชีพทางการประมงยังคงมีอยู่ และเป็นอาชีพที่หล่อเลี้ยงผู้คนในตำบลเชิงทะเล กิจกรรมสืบสานวิถีประมงพื้นบ้านบางเทาไนท์ฟิชชิ่งเกมส์ เกิดขึ้นจากการร่วมคิดร่วมทำของคนชุมชนเมื่อ 21 ปีก่อน และเมื่อมีองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลเชิงทะเลที่ได้เข้ามามีส่วนส่งเสริมสนับสนุนการจัดกิจกรรม ตามขอบเขตภารกิจ อำนาจหน้าที่ โดยเฉพาะในส่วนของการส่งเสริมอาชีพ การอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม การสืบสานวิถีชีวิตวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่น การส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยว และการเสริมสร้างความสามัคคีของคนในชุมชน”
