เมื่อเวลา 13:30 น. วันที่ 20 เมษายน 2558 ที่ห้องประชุมสภาเทศบาลนครภูเก็ต ชั้น7นางสาวสมใจ สุวรรณศุภพนา นายกเทศมนตรีนครภูเก็ต เป็นประธานการประชุมคณะกรรมการอำนวยการบูรณะ พลับพลาที่ประทับ พลเรือเอกพระเจ้าบรมวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าอาภากรเกียรติวงศ์ กรมหลวงชุมพรเขตอุดมศักดิ์ สะพานหิน อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดภูเก็ต ครั้งที่ 3/2558 โดยมี นายภูริพัฒน์ ธีระกุลพิศุทธิ์ ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานเจ้าท่าภูมิภาคสาขาภูเก็ต นาวาเอกกฤษฎา รัตนสุภา ผู้แทนทัพเรือภาคที่3 และหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชน เข้าร่วม สำหรับวาระการประชุมที่สำคัญ ที่ประชุมแจ้งความคืบหน้าการบูรณะพลับพลาที่ประทับ พลเรือเอกพระเจ้าบรมวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าอาภากรเกียรติวงศ์ กรมหลวงชุมพรเขตอุดมศักดิ์ และการเปิดบัญชีกองทุนบูรณะพลับพลาที่ประทับ กรมหลวงชุมพร เขตอุดมศักดิ์ สะพานหิน จังหวัดภูเก็ต ธนาคารออมสิน สาขาภูเก็ต บัญชีเงินฝากเผื่อเรียก บัญชีเลขที่ 020139697500 รวมทั้งการรายงานสถานะกองทุนบูรณะพลับพลาที่ประทับ ส่วนเรื่องพิจารณา มีการขออนุมัติเบิกค่าใช้จ่ายในการบูรณะ พลับพลาที่ประทับฯ จำนวน 6 หมื่นบาท จากงบประมาณจำนวน 3 แสนบาท และการขออนุมัติเบิกจ่ายค่าอาหารกลางวัน การจัดทำป้ายประชาสัมพันธ์ และค่าน้ำประปา จำนวน 1 หมื่น 6พัน บาทเศษ ซึ่งที่ประชุมอนุมัติทั้ง 2 รายการนอกจากนี้ที่ประชุมยังพิจารณาการจัดพิธีบวงสรวงในวันที่ 19 พฤษภาคม 2558 ซึ่งเป็นวันคล้ายวันสิ้นพระชนม์พลเรือเอกพระเจ้าบรมวงศ์เธอพระองค์เจ้าอาภากรเกียรติวงศ์ กรมหลวงชุมพรเขตอุดมศักดิ์
