สำนักงานส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรมซอฟต์แวร์แห่งชาติ (องค์การมหาชน) สาขาภูเก็ต จัดประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการจัดทำแผนงานภูเก็ตสมาร์ทซิตี้.

เมื่อวันที่ 23 พฤษภาคม  2559  ที่ห้องแกรนด์บอลรูม โรงแรมเมโทรโพล อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดภูเก็ต สำนักงานส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรมซอฟต์แวร์แห่งชาติ (องค์การมหาชน) หรือ SIPA สาขาภูเก็ต จัดการประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการ จัดทำแผนงานภูเก็ตสมาร์ทซิตี้ โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมประชุมประกอบด้วยทุกภาคส่วน ทั้งภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน ภาคประชาสังคม ในจังหวัดภูเก็ต ซึ่งการประชุมในครั้งนี้มีนายขจรเกียรติ รักพานิชมณี รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานในพิธี

นายประชา อัศวธีระ ผู้จัดการสำนักงานส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรมซอฟต์แวร์แห่งชาติ สาขาภูเก็ต กล่าวถึง การจัดทำแผนงาน Phuket Smart City ให้สมบูรณ์แบบทั้งด้านการจราจร ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม การจัดการพื้นที่เศรษฐกิจ ต้องอาศัยการมีส่วนร่วมของบุคลากรในการร่วมสะท้อนความต้องการในพื้นที่ ทั้งนี้เพื่อให้สอดรับกับความต้องการที่แตกต่างกันของท้องถิ่นและนำข้อมูลของแต่ละส่วนราชการและท้องถิ่น เข้าระบบเทคโนโลยีเพื่อกำหนดทิศทาง และบูรณาการร่วมกันต่อไป
