พลังงานจังหวัดภูเก็ตระดมความคิดเห็น 16 หน่วยงานพิจารณาร่างแผนยุทธศาสาตร์พลังงานระดับจังหวัดเพื่อการมีพลังงานใช้อย่างยั่งยืน
เมื่อวันที่ 4 กันยายน 2558 เวลา 09.30 น. ที่ห้องประชุมสำนักงานอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดภูเก็ต ดร.พัลลภ สิงหเสนี รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานการประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการพิจารณาร่างแผนยุทธศาสตร์พลังงานระดับจังหวัด โดยมีนายวิโรจน์ ดำคง พลังงานจังหวัดภูเก็ต และคณะทำงานจากหน่วยงานต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องในจังหวัดภูเก็ต เข้าร่วม
นายวิโรจน์ ดำคง กล่าวว่า ภาพรวมการใช้พลังงานของจังหวัดภูเก็ตมีแนวโน้มที่ปรับตัวขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่องทุกปีตามสภาวะเศรษฐกิจโดยเฉพาะเรื่อของการขยายตัวด้านการใช้ไฟฟ้าและเชื้อเพลิงของจังหวัดภูเก็ต จากข้อมูลสถิติการใช้พลังงานของจังหวัดภูเก็ตตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2551 – 2556 พบว่ามีการใช้ไฟฟ้าสูงขึ้นเฉลี่ยปีละ 7% อัตราการใช้น้ำมันเพิ่มขึ้นเฉลี่ยปีละ 1.5 % อัตราการใช้ก๊าซ LPG เพิ่มขึ้นเฉลี่ยปีละ 15 % การใช้พลังงานเพิ่มขึ้นในลักษณะนี้มีความเสี่ยงที่อาจเกิดเพลังงานไม่เพียงพอในภาคใต้และในจังหวัดภูเก็ต หากไม่มีการเตรียมการและการบริหารการใช้พลังงานอย่างดีพอ ดังนั้น สำนักงานพลังงานจังหวัดภูเก็ตจึงได้จัดประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการพิจารณาร่างแผนยุทธศาสตร์พลังงานระดับจังหวัดขึ้นเพื่อให้แผนดังกล่าวมีความเหมาะสมกับศักยภาพของพื้นที่สอดคล้องกับแผนยุทธศาสตร์จังหวัดและแผนยุทธศาสตร์ของประเทศ โดยได้รวบรวมศักยภาพพลังงานในพื้นที่จังหวัดภูเก็ต และข้อมูลการใช้พลังงานไฟฟ้าและน้ำมันเชื้อเพลิงของภาคส่วนต่าง ๆ และได้จัดประชุมตัวแทนกลุ่มย่อย 4 ครั้ง ประกอบด้วย กลุ่มวิสาหกิจชุมชน กลุ่มสถานศึกษาและโรงพยาบาล กลุ่ม OTOP และกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมขนาดย่อม (SMEs) โดยได้รวบรวมข้อมูลข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการใช้พลังงานของตัวแทนแต่ละกลุ่ม จัดทำร่างแผนยุทธศาสตร์พลังงานระดับจังหวัดนำเสนอคณะทำงานบูรณาการจัดทำกรอบแผนยุทธศาสตร์พลังงานระดับจังหวัดเพื่อพิจารณาให้ความเห็นและข้อเสนอแนะต่าง ๆ ทั้งนี้ในการประชุมฯ วันนี้เพื่อให้คณะทำงานบูรณาการจัดทำกรอบแผนยุทธศาสตร์พลังงานระดับจังหวัดจากหน่วยงานต่าง ๆ รวม 16 หน่วยงาน ได้พิจารณาและเสนอข้อคิดเห็น ข้อเสนอแนะในการจัดทำแผนยุทธศาสตร์ระดับจังหวัดให้สอดคล้องกับศักยภาพด้านพลังงานในพื้นที่จังหวัดภูเก็ต สอดคล้องกับแผนยุทธศาสตร์จังหวัดและสอดคล้องกับแผนยุทธศาสตร์พลังงานฯ ของประเทศ เพื่อให้ได้มาซึ่งแผนปฏิบัติการด้านพลังงานที่เหมาะสมตามศักยภาพพลังงานในพื้นที่ เพื่อให้มีการใช้พลังงานอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพในทุกภาคส่วนและเพื่อให้จังหวัดภูเก็ตมีพลังงานใช้อย่างยั่งยืนสืบไป
