 นางสาวสมใจ สุวรรณศุภพนา ได้ประกอบพิธีไหว้เทวดาพิธีถือฤกษ์เวลา 22.30 น. นำประกอบพิธีไหว้เทวดา บริเวณลานมังกร สวนเฉลิมพระเกียรติ 72 พรรษามหาราชินี โดยมีชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีน  และนักท่องเที่ยว เข้าร่วมพิธีเป็นจำนวนมาก 

นางสาวสมใจ สุวรรณศุภพนา ประกอบพิธีไหว้เทวดาซึ่งเป็นประเพณีดั้งเดิมของชาวจีนฮกเกี้ยน ถือเป็นการบูชาเทวดาหรือองค์หยกอ๋องซ่งเต่ ทั้งนี้เพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคลแก่ครอบครัวและความเจริญรุ่งเรืองของเมืองภูเก็ต บริเวณด้านหน้ารูปปั้นพญามังกรทะเล (ฮ่ายเหล็งอ๋อง) สำหรับเครื่องเซ่นไหว้ ประกอบด้วย น้ำชา ขนมรวม 5 สี ขนมเข่ง ขนมเต๋าสีแดง ขนมฟู สับปะรด ส้ม กล้วย ข้าว แตงโม หมู ไก่  หมี่เหลือง ธูป เทียน กระดาษทอง มาตั้งโต๊ะบูชาไหว้พระ ผู้เป็นใหญ่บนสรวงสวรรค์ ถี่ก้งหรือเทวดาทั่วไป เทพเจ้าประจำบ้าน และเทพเจ้าแห่งเตาไฟ เพื่อบูชาสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์อันเป็นเครื่องยึดเหนี่ยวจิตใจ รวมถึงการแสดงความกตัญญูต่อบรรพบุรุษที่ล่วงลับไปแล้ว ที่สำคัญ คือ การสานสัมพันธ์ในหมู่เครือญาติและครอบครัว ซึ่งชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีนยึดถือปฏิบัติสืบทอดต่อไปจากรุ่นสู่รุ่น
