ภูเก็ตเจ้าภาพกีฬาไทคัพรอบคัดเลือกภาคใต้ตอนบนครั้งที่ 14 29 ต.ค. – 5 พ.ย. นี้

เมื่อวันที่ 15 ตุลาคม  2558  เวลา 14.00 น.  ที่ห้องประชุม OSM ภูเก็ต ดร. ประเจียด อักษรธรรมกุล รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานการประชุมการแข่งขันกีฬาไทคัพ มหกรรมกีฬาท้องถิ่นแห่งประเทศไทยครั้งที่ 14 ระดับเขตภาคใต้ตอนบน โดยมีนายสันติ ป่าหวาย ท่องเที่ยวและกีฬาจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายธรรมวรรธ วงศ์เจริญยศ นายกสมาคมกีฬาแห่งจังหวัดภูเก็ต หัวหน้าส่วนราชการ ภาคเอกชนที่เกี่ยวข้องเข้าร่วม

นายสันติ ป่าหวาย  กล่าวว่า กระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬาร่วมกับบริษัทบุญรอดเทรดดิ้ง จำกัด กรมส่งเสริมการปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น มอบให้จังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการแข่งขันกีฬาไทคัพ มหกรรมกีฬาท้องถิ่นแห่งประเทศไทย ครั้งที่ 14 ประจำปี 2558 รอบคัดเลือกภาคใต้ตอนบน ระหว่างวันที่ 29 ต.ค. – 5 พ.ย. 58 ณ สนามฟุตบอลสะพานหินภูเก็ต และสนามฟุตบอลเทศบาลตำบลเชิงทะเล โดยมี 7 จังหวัดเข้าร่วมประกอบด้วย จ. ระนอง ชุมพร สุราษฎร์ธานี นครศรีธรรมราช กระบี่ พังงาและภูเก็ต สำหรับประเภทกีฬาประกอบด้วยฟุตบอลรุ่นประชาชนชาย ฟุตบอลรุ่นอาวุโส ฟุตบอลรุ่นประชาชนหญิง กีฬาวอลเลย์บอล กีฬาเปตอง กรีฑา กีฬาพื้นบ้าน การประกวดกองเชียร์ นอกจากนี้ยังมีการออกบูธอาหารจำนวน 40 บูธของชมรมผู้ประกอบการอาหารเทศบาลนครภูเก็ต ขบวนพาเหรดที่ยิ่งใหญ่และสวยงาม ที่สนามสุระกุลภูเก็ต อย่างไรก็ตามทางจังหวัดได้มีการเข้มงวดมาตรการดูแลรักษาความปลอดภัยพร้อมเชิญชวนชาวภูเก็ตเป็นเจ้าภาพที่ดีในการต้อนรับนักกีฬาและเจ้าหน้าที่
