เมื่อเวลา 09.00 น. วันที่ 26 พฤศจิกายน 2558  ที่ห้องประชุมสำนักงานส่งเสริมการปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายจำเริญ ทิพญพงศ์ธาดา ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานการประชุมเพื่อซักซ้อมทำความเข้าใจในแนวทางปฏิบัติกับหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องในการดูแลถนนสายต่าง ๆ Safe and Clean โดยมีนายขจรเกียรติ รักพานิชมณี รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายสมัคร เลือดวงหัด ผู้อำนวยการแขวงทางหลวงภูเก็ต หัวหน้าส่วนราชการ ผุ้บริหารองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น เข้าร่วม

นายสมัคร เลือดวงหัด กล่าวว่า ในการประชุมครั้งนี้ ทางผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดได้มอบหมายให้มีการปรับภูมิทัศน์ถนนสายหลักเส้นเทพกระษัตรีให้สวยงามรองรับการท่องเที่ยวช่วงไฮซีซั่น โดยมอบหมายให้องค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดภูเก็ตเป็นเจ้าภาพ ร่วมกับองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นในพื้นที่ นอกจากนี้ยังได้มอบหมายให้มีการปรับภูมิทัศน์ถนนเส้นสนามบินภูเก็ต เส้นผ่านด่านท่าฉัตรไชยด้วย ขณะที่ถนนสายหลัก สายรองมอบให้แขวงทางหลวงภูเก็ตเข้าไปปรับปรุงซ่อมแซมให้ได้มาตรฐานความปลอดภัย
