เมื่อวันที่ 29 มีนาคม 2559 เวลา 14.30 น. ที่ห้องประชุมชั้น 3 สำนักงานอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายวัชรินทร์ ไชยานุพงศ์ อุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานในการประชุมคณะทำงานโครงการปรับแผนธุรกิจและเพิ่มขีดความสามารถ SMEs โดยมี นายชริน ธำรงเกียรติกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายประดิษฐิ์ สุวลักษณ์ นักวิชาการอุตสาหกรรมชำนาญการ และหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวเข้าร่วม
นายวัชรินทร์ ไชยานุพงศ์ กล่าวว่า กระทรวงอุตสาหกรรมได้มอบหมายให้สำนักงานอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดทั่วประเทศดำเนินโครงการปรับแผนธุรกิจและเพิ่มขีดความสามารถ SMEs ประจำปีงบประมาณ พ.ศ.2559 โดย ประชาสัมพันธ์โครงการฯ และรับสมัคร เข้าร่วมโครงการฯ ซึ่งในพื้นที่จังหวัดภูเก็ตกำหนดเป้าหมาย SMEs เข้าร่วมโครงการไม่น้อยกว่า 40 ราย และสำนักงานอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดภูเก็ต ได้ดำเนินการสัมมนาชี้แจงรายละเอียดโครงการฯ แนวทางการดำเนินโครงการฯ และประโยชน์ที่จะได้รับจากโครงการฯ รวมทั้งประชาสัมพันธ์โครงการเพื่อรับสมัครSMEs ที่มีความประสงค์เข้าร่วมโครงการฯ เมื่อวันที่ 15 ธันวาคม 2558 ณ โรงแรมแกรน สุพิชฌาย์ซิตี้อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดภูเก็ต นอกจากนี้ที่ประชุมได้ชี้แจงรายละเอียดของการขยายเวลาโครงการปรับแผนธุรกิจและเพิ่มขีดความสามารถ SMEs และแนวทางการดำเนินโครงการฯ โดยประชาสัมพันธ์โครงการฯไวนิล สปอร์ตวิทยุเอกสารประชาสัมพันธ์ สัมมนาชี้แจงโครงการฯ รับสมัครSMEs เข้าร่วมโครงการฯ คัดเลือกผู้สมัครเข้าร่วมโครงการฯ ลงทะเบียนผู้สมัครในระบบฐานข้อมูลโครงการฯ และกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรมประเมินและวินิจฉัย
ทั้งนี้ ที่ประชุมได้ร่วมพิจารณาคัดเลือกSMEs ที่สมัครเข้าร่วมโครงการฯ จำนวน 9 รายการ โดยมีเกณฑ์คือ การคัดเลือกเป็นกิจการที่ประสบปัญหาอุปสรรคในการดำเนินธุรกิจ เป็นนิติบุคคล มีการจดทะเบียนการค้า มีผู้ถือหุ้นเป็นสัญชาติไทยร้อยละ 51 ขึ้นไป มีที่ตั้งโรงงานอยู่ในจังหวัดที่ยืนใบสมัครไม่เป็นบุคคลล้มละลาย 7 ไม่เป็นกิจการในเครือของบริษัทแม่ เป็นธุรกิจที่ไม่ขัดต่อศีลธรรม
