เมื่อวันที่ 10 พฤศจิกายน 2558  เวลา 09.00 น.  นายประเจียด อักษรธรรมกุล รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานเปิดโครงการปลูกป่าต้นน้ำ กิจกรรม รวมใจภักดิ์ปลูกมเหสักข์-สักสยามมินทร์ เฉลิมพระเกียรติ พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว และโครงการเผยแพร่กฎหมายน่ารู้สู่ชุมชน เพื่อเทิดพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว เนื่องในโอกาสมหามงคลเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา 88 พรรษา 5 ธันวาคม 2558 ณ บริเวณแหลมพรหมเทพ ตำบลราไวย์ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดภูเก็ต

การอบรมหลักสูตรเสาหลักเพื่อแผ่นดิน สำหรับผู้นำระดับสูงเพื่อศึกษาโครงการตามแนวพระราชดำริ รุ่นที่ 3 หรือ สนพ.3 ร่วมกับเทศบาลตำบลราไวย์ จัดขึ้น เพื่อเทิดพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว และเพื่อเผยแพร่โครงการต่าง ๆ ตามแนวพระราชดำริของพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ให้ประชาชนในท้องถิ่นได้รู้จักอย่างแพร่หลาย โดยมีนายอรุณ โสฬส นายกเทศมนตรีตำบลราไวย์ พร้อมด้วยสมาชิกสภาเทศบาลตำบลราไวย์ สมาคม ชมรม นักเรียน นักศึกษา ตลอดจนประชาชนทั่วไปเข้าร่วมจำนวนมาก

สำหรับหลักสูตรเสาหลักเพื่อแผ่นดิน นั้น จัดขึ้นโดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้ผู้เข้ารับการอบรมมีความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับหลักการและแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับความมั่นคงแห่งชาติ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งบทบาทขององค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นในการเสริมสร้างความมั่นคงของสถาบันชาติ ศาสนา และสถาบันพระมหากษัตริย์ ตลอดจนให้ผู้ที่ผ่านการอบรมตระหนักในการมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชนท้องถิ่น ตลอดจนเพื่อให้ผู้ที่ผ่านการอบรมเป็นกำลังสำคัญในการส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนเครือข่ายองค์กรภาครัฐ เอกชน และองค์กรอิสระ ในการค้ำจุน สถาบันชาติ ศาสนา และพระมหากษัตริย์อย่างยั่งยืนต่อไป
