จังหวัดภูเก็ตแจ้งเตือนประชาชนและนักท่องเที่ยวป้องกันอุบัติภัยในช่วงเทศกาลลอยกระทง

นายโชคดี อมรวัฒน์ รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เปิดเผยว่า จังหวัดภูเก็ตได้ออกประกาศแจ้งเตือนพี่น้องประชาชนและนักท่องเที่ยว ป้องกันอุบัติภัยในช่วงเทศกาลวันลอยกระทงวันที่ 25 พฤศจิกายน นี้ โดยกำชับนายทะเบียนท้องที่ เข้มงวด กวดขัน การพิจารณาออกใบอนุญาตหรือต่ออายุใบอนุญาตให้นำเข้าหรือค้าดอกไม้เพลิง รวมทั้งให้ตรวจสอบสถานที่เก็บหรือค้าดอกไม้เพลิงที่อาจเป็นอันตรายต่อชีวิตและทรัพย์สินของประชาชนให้เจ้าพนักงานตาม พรบ.ป้องกันและบรรเทาสาธารณภัย พ.ศ. 2550 ตรวจอาคาร สถานที่ โป๊ะ ท่าเทียบเรือโดยสาร ให้มีสภาพมั่นคงแข็งแรง พร้อมใช้งานได้โดยความปลอดภัย ให้หน่วยงานภาครัฐ องค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นและภาคเอกชน ที่จะจัดงานวันลอยกระทงเตรียมการป้องกันและระมัดระวังเพื่อมิให้เกิดอุบัติเหตุจากการจุดพลุ ประทัด ดอกไม้เพลิงและปล่อยโคมลอย รวมถึงจัดให้มีอุปกรณ์ช่วยชีวิตทางน้ำในบริเวณใกล้เคียง สถานที่จัดเตรียมไว้สำหรับลอยกระทง ตลอดจนจัดระเบียบและอำนวยความสะดวกด้านการจราจรและเฝ้าระวังความปลอดภัยบริเวณที่มีประชาชนหนาแน่น โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่จัดงานเทศกาลลอยกระทง

รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต กล่าวเพิ่มเติมว่า ในช่วงเทศกาลดังกล่าวต้องขอความร่วมมือพี่น้องประชาชนและนักท่องเที่ยวหลีกเลี่ยงการปล่อยโคมลอย ลูกโป่งสวรรค์ การยิงลำแสงเลเซอร์และการใช้อากาศยานไร้คนขับ (Drone) ใกล้ท่าอากาศยานเพราะอาจส่งผลกระทบต่อการบินและอากาศยานที่มีบทลงโทษทางกฎหมายที่รุนแรงพร้อมทั้งเข้มงวดในพื้นที่จัดงานลอยกระทง เป็นสถานที่ห้ามจำหน่ายสุรา ตาม พรบ.ควบคุมเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ พ.ศ. 2551 และขอให้พี่น้องประชาชน นักท่องเที่ยวร่วมงานลอยกระทง ส่งเสริมและสืบสานวัฒนธรรมประเพณีอันดีงามที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ของคนไทย
