เมื่อวันที่ 16  กรกฎาคม  2558  เวลา 14.00 น. นายเกรียงไกร อาภาบุษยพันธ์ สวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงานจังหวัดภูเก็ต นำคณะทำงานการป้องกันและปราบปรามการค้ามนุษย์จังหวัดภูเก็ตด้านแรงงาน ออกตรวจแค้มป์แรงงานพื้นที่ อ.ถลลาง
นายเกรียงไกร อาภาบุษยพันธ์  กล่าวว่า คณะอนุกรรมการศูนย์ปฏิบัติการป้องกันและปราบปรามการค้ามนุษย์จังหวัดภูเก็ต มีมติที่ประชุมเมื่อวันที่ 16 มิ.ย. 58 ได้แต่งตั้งคณะทำงานจัดทำแผนปฏิบัติงานป้องกันและปราบปรามการค้ามนุษย์ประจำปี 2558 เพื่อให้เกิดการบูรณาการในการป้องกันและปราบปรามการค้ามนุษย์ ประกอบด้วยคณะทำงาน 4 ด้าน คือ ด้านแรงงาน ด้านการบังคับค้าประเวณี ด้านขอทานและกลุ่มโรฮินจา โดยในส่วนสำนักงานสวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงานจังหวัดภูเก็ตเป็นหน่วยงานหลักที่รับผิดชอบด้านแรงงาน โดยวันนี้ได้มีการบูรณาการหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องเพื่อออกตรวจแค้มป์แรงงานต่างด้าวพื้นที่อำเภอถลาง เพื่อป้องกันการค้ามนุษย์ข้ามชาติซึ่งจะมีการตรวจใบอนุญาตทำงาน ตรวจสารเสพติด ตรวจสุขภาวะแค้มป์คนงาน เป็นต้น อย่างไรก็ตามการตรวจครั้งนี้ได้รับความร่วมมือจากผู้ประกอบการเป็นอย่างดีและไม่พบการกระทำผิดกฎหมายด้านแรงงานแต่อย่างใด
