สำนักงานอัยการจังหวัดคุ้มครองสิทธิและช่วยเหลือทางกฎหมายและการบังคับคดีจังหวัดภูเก็ตจัดโครงการฝึกอบรมความรู้ทางกฎหมาย เกี่ยวกับกฎหมายความรุนแรงต่อผู้หญิงและเด็ก และกิจกรรมรณรงค์ยุติความรุนแรงต่อผู้หญิงและเด็ก ตามแนวพระดำริในพระเจ้าหลานเธอ พระองค์เจ้าพัชรกิติยาภา

เมื่อวันที่ 27 สิงหาคม  2558  เวลา 09.00 น.  ที่หอประชุมโรงเรียนสตรีภูเก็ต ต.ตลาดใหญ่ อ.เมือง จ.ภูเก็ต นายสุรศักดิ์ รักญาติ อธิบดีอัยการสำนักงานคดีแรงงานภาค 8 เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดโครงการฝึกอบรมความรู้ทางกฎหมาย เกี่ยวกับกฎหมายความรุนแรงต่อผู้หญิงและเด็ก และกิจกรรมรณรงค์ยุติความรุนแรงต่อผู้หญิงและเด็ก โดยมี ร.ต.อ.บุญทบ ล้านทอง อัยการจังหวัดคุ้มครองสิทธิและช่วยเหลือทางกฎหมายและการบังคับคดีจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายบัณฑูร ทองตันอัยการผู้เชี่ยวชาญพิเศษ สำนักงานคดีแรงงานภาค 8 นายโกศล ใสขาว ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนสตรีภูเก็ต หน่วยงานภาครัฐ ตลอดจน นักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย เข้าร่วม

ร.ต.อ.บุญทบ ล้านทอง อัยการจังหวัดคุ้มครองสิทธิและช่วยเหลือทางกฎหมายและการบังคับคดีจังหวัดภูเก็ต กล่าวว่า การจัดโครงการดังกล่าวได้จัดขึ้นตามแนวพระดำริในพระเจ้าหลานเธอ พระองค์เจ้าพัชรกิติยาภา ซึ่งพระองค์ท่านทรงห่วงใยและให้ความสำคัญกับปัญหาการใช้ความรุนแรงต่อผู้หญิงจึงทรงรับเป็นทูตสันถวไมตรีของกองทุนการพัฒนาเพื่อสตรีแห่งสหประชาชาติหรือยูนิเฟม ปัจจุบันเปลี่ยนชื่อและโครงสร้างเป็นองค์กรเพื่อการส่งเสริมความเสมอภาคระหว่างเพศและเพิ่มพลังของผู้หญิงแห่งสหประชาชาติ หรือยูเอ็นวีเมน ซึ่งมีเป้าหมายเพื่อยกสถานภาพของสตรี สำนักงานอัยการสูงสุดเป็นหน่วยงานหลักที่พระองค์ท่านทรงมอบหมายให้รับผิดชอบงานด้านยุติความรุนแรงต่อผู้หญิง จึงดำเนินการจัดกิจกรรมเพื่อยุติความรุนแรงต่อผู้หญิงต่อเนื่องมาเป็นเวลา 3 ปีแล้ว นอกจากดำเนินกิจกรรมด้านการรณรงค์การยุติความรุนแรงต่อผู้หญิงแล้ว ยังดำเนินกิจกรรมการณรงค์การยุติความรุนแรงต่อเด็กตามยุทธศาสตร์ต้นแบบในการคุ้มครองเด็กในกระบวนการยุติธรรม รวมทั้งการป้องกันปัญหาอาชญากรรมที่เกิดขึ้นจำนวนมากในสังคมปัจจุบัน ที่พระองค์ท่านให้ความสำคัญอีกกิจกรรมหนึ่ง สำนักงานอัยการสูงสุด โดยสำนักงานกิจการและโครงการในพระดำริพระเจ้าหลานเธอ พระองค์เจ้าพัชรกิตติยาภาและสำนักงานอัยการคุ้มครองสิทธิและช่วยเหลือทางกฎหมายแก่ประชาชนจึงได้ให้จัดโครงการดังกล่าวขึ้น เพื่อให้ความรู้ด้านกฎหมายและรณรงค์ยุติความรุนแรงต่อผู้หญิงและเด็ก และการปลูกฝังค่านิยมลดการใช้ความรุนแรงต่อผู้หญิงและเด็กที่เข้มแข็งและให้เกิดผลสัมฤทธิ์มากยิ่งขึ้น และเพื่อป้องกันอาชญากรรมที่อาจจะเกิดขึ้นต่อไป
