เมื่อวันที่ 9 สิงหาคม  2559 ที่ห้องประชุมคอซิมบี้ ศาลากลางจังหวัดภูเก็ต ดร. ประเจียด อักษรธรรมกุล รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานการประชุมคณะกรรมการอาหารเสริม (นม) โรงเรียน โดยมีส่วนราชการที่เกี่ยวข้องเข้าร่วม

ดร. ประเจียด อักษรธรรมกุล กล่าวว่า ด้วยคณะกรรมการโคนมและผลิตภัณฑ์นม ได้มีประกาศ เรื่องหลักเกณฑ์และวิธีการดำเนินงานโครงการอาหารเสริม (นม) โรงเรียน ปีการศึกษา 2559 ลงวันที่ 5 เมษายน 2559 ในประกาศหมวดที่ 7 มาตรการควบคุมกำกับดูแลการบริหารจัดการและคุณภาพในโครงการอาหารเสริม (นม) โรงเรียน ข้อ 22 ให้คณะกรรมการอาหารเสริม (นม) ระดับจังหวัด ติดตามกำกับดูแลการบริหารจัดการคุณภาพนมในโครงการ โดยคณะกรรมการระดับจังหวัดที่ได้รับแต่งตั้งโดยผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัด และในข้อ 24 กรณีผู้ประกอบการผลิตภัณฑ์นม ถูกร้องเรียนเรื่องคุณภาพและการบริการตามหลักเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด โดยให้มีคณะกรรมการสอบข้อเท็จจริง โดยมี ปศุสัตว์จังหวัดเป็นประธานกรรมการ
และในวันนี้ (9 ส.ค.59) ทางจังหวัดภูเก็ตได้มีการจัดการประชุมเพื่อชี้แจงทำความเข้าใจแก่ส่วนราชการและโรงเรียนทุกโรงเรียนเพื่อให้การควบคุมคุณภาพของนมโรงเรียนในจังหวัดมีมาตรฐานเดียวกัน ทั้งนี้เพื่อให้นมโรงเรียนในพื้นที่จังหวัดภูเก็ต มีความปลอดภัยถูกสุขลักษณะตามที่หน่วยงานที่กำกับดูแลได้กำหนดไว้โดยเคร่งครัดต่อไป
