ภูเก็ตเจ้าภาพมหกรรมเรือสำราญและมารีน่า 8-14 กุมภาพันธ์ 2559

เมื่อวันที่ 19 มกราคม  2559  ที่สถานีโทรทัศน์วิทยุแห่งประเทศไทยจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายจำเริญ ทิพญพงศ์ธาดา ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต ได้ออกรายการพบผู้ว่าภูเก็ตเรื่อง การเป็นเจ้าภาพมหกรรมเรือสำราญและมารีน่าซึ่งจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 8-14 กุมภาพันธ์ 2559 โดยมี นายภูริพัฒน์ ธีระกุลพิศุทธ์ ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานเจ้าท่าภูมิภาคสาขาภูเก็ต นายสันติ ป่าหวาย ท่องเที่ยวและกีฬาจังหวัดภูเก็ต ร่วมออกรายการ และมีนางบุษยา ใจเปี่ยม ประชาสัมพันธ์จังหวัดภูเก็ต นางไอศยา สินบุษกร ผู้อำนวยการสถานีวิทยุโทรทัศน์แห่งประเทศไทยจังหวัดภูเก็ตให้การต้อนรับ

นายจำเริญ ทิพญพงศ์ธาดา กล่าวว่า รัฐบาลได้กำหนดให้มีการจัดมหกรรมเรือสำราญและมารีน่าในเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ 2559 ณ จังหวัดภูเก็ต เพื่อเป็นการสร้างสิ่งจูงใจและบรรยากาศการท่องเที่ยวทางทะเล ธุรกิจต่อเนื่อง อันจะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจของประเทศ ตลอดจนแสดงศักยภาพและความพร้อมของประเทศไทยในการเป็นศูนย์กลางมารีน่าของอาเซียน (Thailand Marina Hub of ASEAN) มหกรรมเรือสำราญและมารีน่า กำหนดจัดขึ้น ระหว่างวันที่ 8-14 กุมภาพันธ์ 2559 ณ บริเวณอ่าวปอแกรนด์มารีน่า จ.ภูเก็ต ซึ่งประกอบด้วยงานนิทรรศการ แสดงสินค้า ผลิตภัณฑ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับธุรกิจเรือสำราญและมารีน่า และการแสดงเรือ Yacht และ Super Yacht โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้างสิ่งจูงใจและสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกที่เกื้อกูลต่อบรรยากาศการท่องเที่ยวทางทะเล เพื่อชักจูงให้นักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติและนักท่องเที่ยวในประเทศมีการท่องเที่ยวทางทะเลเพิ่มขึ้นตามนโยบายรัฐบาล เพิ่มมูลค่าทางเศรษฐกิจให้กับประเทศอย่างครบวงจร และเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นให้ประชาชน นักท่องเที่ยวและนักลงทุนตระหนักถึงศักยภาพของธุรกิจเรือสำราญและมารีน่า แสดงให้เห็นเจตนารมณ์ของรัฐบาล ในการพัฒนาประเทศไทยให้เป็นศูนย์กลางมารีน่าของอาเซียน (Thailand: Marina Hub of ASEAN)
