เมื่อวันที่ 27 ธันวาคม  2559เวลา 09.40 น. ที่ห้องประชุมอาคารคอซิมบี้ ศาลากลางจังหวัดภูเก็ต  ในโอกาสการประชุมกรมการจังหวัดหัวหน้าส่วนราชการจังหวัดประจำเดือนธันวาคม 2559 นายโชคชัย เดชอมรธัญ ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานมอบป้ายร้านอาหารวัตถุดิบปลอดภัยเลือกใช้สินค้า Q ให้ แก่ผู้ประกอบการร้านอาหารจำนวน 4 แห่ง ประกอบด้วย ร้านหมี่ต้นโพธิ์สาขา 3 ถนนศักดิเดช ตำบลตลาดเหนือ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดภูเก็ต, ร้านอาหารเพียงไพร น้ำตกบางแป ถนนป่าคลอก-เมืองใหม่ อำเภอถลาง จังหวัดภูเก็ต,  ร้านสเต็กมุมเมือง ถนนถลาง อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดภูเก็ตและร้านอาหารศาลารายัน โรงแรมอนันตรา ลายันภูเก็ต ซอยลายัน 4 ตำบลเชิงทะเล อำเภอถลาง จังหวัดภูเก็ต

สำหรับ ผู้ประกอบการทั้ง 4 แห่งที่ได้รับรางวัลป้ายร้านอาหารวัตถุดิบปลอดภัยเลือกใช้สินค้า Q เป็นรางวัลตามโครงการ ร้านอาหารวัตถุดิบปลอดภัยเลือกใช้สินค้า Q ซึ่งกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์มุ่งเน้นประชาสัมพันธ์ให้ผู้บริโภคได้รู้จักร้านอาหารที่มีชื่อเสียงเป็นที่ยอมรับในระดับจังหวัดที่มีการใช้วัตถุดิบที่มีความปลอดภัยมีการผลิตตามมาตรฐานและผ่านการรับรองหรือเป็นผลผลิต ที่ผู้ผลิตรับรองตนเองว่า ผลิตโดยไม่ใช้สารเคมีหรือจำกัดการใช้สารเคมี รวมทั้งมุ่งเน้นให้ร้านอาหารเป็นจุดรับซื้อผลผลิตทางการเกษตรที่มีความปลอดภัยได้อีกช่องทางหนึ่ง ซึ่งร้านอาหารจะเป็นตัวเชื่อมในการนำผลผลิตที่ปลอดภัยจากเกษตรกรสู่ผู้บริโภคโดยตรงและจากการดำเนินการที่ผ่านมาได้มีการบูรณาการในระดับพื้นที่ในการส่งเสริมให้มีการผลิต สินค้าเกษตรเข้าสู่ระดับมาตรฐานเพิ่มขึ้นสำหรับในปีงบประมาณพ. ศ. 2559 สำนักงานเกษตรและสหกรณ์จังหวัดร่วมกับคณะทำงานดำเนินโครงการที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสินค้าเกษตรที่ปลอดภัยของจังหวัดภูเก็ตอย่างต่อเนื่อง

สำหรับโครงการร้านอาหารวัตถุดิบปลอดภัยเลือกใช้สินค้า Q ได้มีร้านอาหารสนใจสมัครเข้าร่วมโครงการจำนวน 5 ร้านและมีร้านอาหารที่ผ่านการรับรองจำนวน 4 ร้าน และ ได้เดินทางมาเข้ารับรางวัลในวันนี้
