แห่พระวันที่ 6 สุดคึกคักม้าทรงศาลเจ้าจุ้ยตุ้ยเต้าโบเก้งกว่า2พันคนร่วมรับเคราะห์แทนผู้ถือศีลกินผักโดยใช้อาวุธทั้งในและนอกตำนานทิ่มแทงร่างการแห่ขบวนรอบเมืองภูเก็ตท่ามกลางประชาชนนักท่องเที่ยวนับหมื่นคนแก่ร่วมขบวน.

ประเพณีถือศีลกินผักจังหวัดภูเก็ตเมื่อวันที่ 19 ตุลาคม  2558  ซึ่งเป็นวันที่ 7 แล้วและเป็นวันที่ 6 ของการแห่พระรอบเมือง ปรากฏว่าบรรยากาศการประกอบพิธีแห่พระรอบเมืองวันนี้ คึกคักกว่าทุกวันที่ผ่านมา มีประชาชนชาวภูเก็ต นักท่องเที่ยวทั้งชาวไทย และชาวต่างชาตินับหมื่นคนออกมารับขบวนแห่พระของศาลเจ้าจุ้ยตุ่ยเต้าโบ้เก้ง ซึ่งเป็นศาลเจ้าที่มีการประกอบพิธีแห่พระรอบเมืองที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในบรรดาศาลเจ้าทั้งหมดในศาลเจ้าของจังหวัดภูเก็ตโดยในปีนี้ มีขบวนพระ ม้าทรง ทั้งเด็ก และผู้ใหญ่ ตั้งแต่อายุ 9-60 ปี จำนวนกว่า 2,000 คน มีเด็ก เยาวชน ประชาชน ตลอดจนหน่วยงานที่ให้การสนับสนุนงานถือศีลกินผักของศาลเจ้าจุ้ยตุ่ยฯ ร่วมมาในขบวนแห่พระจำนวนมาก ทำให้ขบวนมีความยิ่งใหญ่ และใช้เวลานานในการเคลื่อนขบวน ซึ่งเริ่มตั้งแต่ศาลเจ้าจุ้ยตุ่ยฯ ต่อเนื่องไปจนถึงปลายแหลมสะพานหิน เพื่อไปประกอบพิธีอัญเชิญควันธูป ควันเทียนกลับศาลเจ้า อย่างไรก็ตาม ตลอดเส้นทางที่ขบวนแห่พระผ่านเป็นไปด้วยความยากลำบาก เนื่องจากตลอด 2 ข้างทางเนืองแน่นไปด้วยผู้คนที่มารอรับพระเพื่อรับพรจากองค์พระ และชมการแสดงอิทธิฤทธิ์ของม้าทรง โดยการใช้ของแหลม ของมีคมต่างๆ ทั้งใน และนอกตำนานทิ่มแทงตามร่างกาย โดยเฉพาะบริเวณกระพุ้งแก้ม ลิ้น ซึ่งเชื่อกันว่าเป็นการรับเคราะห์แทนผู้ถือศีลกินผักและเมื่อขบวนแห่พระผ่านมาถึง ประชาชนชาวภูเก็ต และนักท่องเที่ยวได้นำประทัดแพที่เตรียมไว้จำนวนมากจุดใส่ขบวนพระเพื่อเป็นการต้อนรับ ในโอกาสเสด็จออกประพาสเพื่อโปรดสัตว์โดยมีขบวนธง และป้ายชื่อแห่นำหน้า จากนั้นเป็นเกี้ยวหามรูปพระ เรียกว่า ไท่เปี๋ย หรือเสลี่ยงเล็ก โดยหามรูปพระบูชาต่างๆ ออกนั่งเกี้ยวไป ซึ่งจัดตามชั้น และยศของเทพ จากนั้นเป็นขบวนของนิ่วสิ่ว หรือฉัตรจีน ตามด้วยพระเกี้ยวใหญ่ หรือเสลี่ยงใหญ่ ซึ่งมักใช้คน 8 คนหาม ซึ่งเป็นที่ประทับองค์กิ้วฮ๋องไต่เต่ ทำให้พื้นที่ตัวเมืองภูเก็ตในเส้นทางที่ใช้ประกอบพิธีแห่พระถูกปกคลุมไปด้วยเสียง และควันจากประทัด ขณะที่การดูแลความปลอดภัย และอำนวยความสะดวกแก่ผู้ร่วมพิธีแห่พระรอบเมือง ทางศาลเจ้าจุ้ยตุ่ยเต้าโบ้เก้ง ได้รับการสนับสนุนกำลังเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจจราจร เจ้าหน้าที่อาสาสมัครป้องกันภัยและบรรเทาสาธารณภัยเทศบาลนครภูเก็ต และหน่วยเคลื่อนที่เร็วรวมประมาณ500 นาย ร่วมอำนวยความสะดวกด้านการจราจร และดูแลความปลอดภัยแก่ผู้ที่ร่วมในพิธีแห่พระด้วย ส่วนในวันพรุ่งนี้ (20 ต.ค.58) ซึ่งเป็นจะเป็นขบวนแห่พระรอบเมืองของศาลกะทู้ ซึ่งเป็นศาลเจ้าแห่งแรกและเก่าแก่ที่สุดในจังหวัดภูเก็ตที่มีอายุมากกว่า200ปี นอกจากนี้ในค่ำคืนนี้จะมีพิธีกรรมปีนบันไดมีดของศาลเจ้าบางเหนียวและศาลเจ้าสามกองด้วย
