ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต นำประชาชนร่วมถวายดอกไม้จันทน์พิธีบำเพ็ญกุศลพระศพสมเด็จพระญาณสังวร สมเด็จพระสังฆราช สกลมหาสังฆปริณายก

เมื่อวันที่ 16 ธันวาคม  2558  เวลา 14.00 น. นายจำเริญ ทิพญพงศ์ธาดา ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต นำข้าราชการ ทหาร ตำรวจ ประชาชน นักเรียนนักศึกษา ในจังหวัดภูเก็ต ร่วมพิธีบำเพ็ญกุศลพระศพสมเด็จพระญาณสังวร สมเด็จพระสังฆราช สกลมหาสังฆปริณายก และร่วมถวายดอกไม้จันทน์ ในส่วนภูมิภาคซึ่งจังหวัดภูเก็ต กำหนดจัดที่วัดวิชิตสังฆาราม ตำบลตลาดใหญ่ อำเภอเมือง ภูเก็ต เพื่อเป็นการแสดงความอาลัยถวายแด่สมเด็จพระญาณสังวร สมเด็จพระสังฆราช สกลมหาสังฆปริณายก

โดยเริ่มพิธี ตั้งแต่เวลา 14.00น. ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ตเ ดินทางถึงสถานที่จัดพิธี และประกอบพิธี มีพระสงฆ์จำนวน 10 รูป สวดพระพุทธมนต์ ต่อมาเวลา 16.30 น. ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต ประธานในพิธีได้เดินไปยังซุ้มดอกไม้จันทน์ นำคณะข้าราชการ และประชาชนถวายดอกไม้จันทน์ และเวลา 18.30 น. จังหวัดภูเก็ต ได้จัดแสดงมหรสพสมโภชงานออกพระเมรุ จากนั้นในเวลา 20.00 น. ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต นำคณะข้าราชการ และประชาชนชาวจังหวัดภูเก็ต ถวายดอกไม้จันทน์ ณ เมรุ วัดวิชิตสังฆาราม

ทั้งนี้จังหวัดภูเก็ต ได้ประกอบพิธีพร้อมกันทั้ง 3 อำเภอ คือ อำเภอเมือง ที่วัดวิชิตสังฆาราม หรือวัดควน / อำเภอถลาง ที่วัดเทพวนาราม / และอำเภอกะทู้ ที่วัดอนุภาษกฤษฎาราม หรือวัดเก็ตโฮ่
