พลังงานจังหวัดภูเก็ต จัดโครงการ PHUKET CAR FREE DAY 2016 ร่วมปั่นจักรยานในทุกวันศุกร์ เพื่อรณรงค์การลดใช้พลังงานและลดปัญหาโลกร้อน

เมื่อวันที่ 8 มกราคม  2559  เวลา 07.30 น. บริเวณศาลากลางจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายจำเริญ ทิพญพงศ์ธาดา ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานในโครงการรณรงค์กิจกรรม PHUKET CAR FREE DAY 2016 โดยมี ดร.ประเจียด อักษรธรรมกุล นายขจรเกียรติ รักพานิชมณี รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายวิโรจน์ ดำคง พลังงานจังหวัดภูเก็ต ผู้นำองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น กลุ่มนักปั่นจักรยาน หน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง และประชาชน เข้าร่วม

นายจำเริญ ทิพญพงศ์ธาดา กล่าวว่า เป็นดำเนินกิจกรรมตามโครงการ PHUKET CAR FREE DAY 2016 เป็นกิจกรรมเกี่ยวกับการลดพลังงาน ลดภาวะโลกร้อน และการออกกำลังกายเพื่อสร้างสุขภาพ ซึ่งทางจังหวัดภูเก็ตได้ลงนามความร่วมมือกับส่วนกลาง ในการรณรงค์ เรื่องการลดภาวะโลกร้อน เพื่อเป็นต้นแบบในระดับภูมิภาค นอกจากนี้ยังมีโครงการลดพลังงาน การใช้หลอดไฟประหยัดพลังงาน LED การใช้อุปกรณ์ไฟฟ้าอย่างคุ้มค่า ซึ่งจะมีขยายโครงการไปสู่สถานศึกษา สถานประกอบการ หน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชน โดยได้มอบหมายให้พลังงานจังหวัดเป็นเจ้าภาพหลักในการดำเนินงานในครั้งนี้

ทั้งนี้ กิจกรรม PHUKET CAR FREE DAY 2016 จะมีการร่วมกันปั่นจักรยานในทุกวันศุกร์ เพื่อช่วยลดการใช้พลังงาน ลดปัญหาการจราจร และสร้างความปลอดภัยบนท้องถนนให้แก่ประชาชนและนักท่องเที่ยวที่มาเยือนจังหวัดภูเก็ต
