จังหวัดประชุมคณะกรรมการร่วมภาครัฐและเอกชนเพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาทางเศรษฐกิจ (กรอ.) จังหวัดภูเก็ตครั้งที่ 1/25599ติดตามความคืบหน้าโครงการพัฒนาจังหวัดในทุกมิติ
เมื่อวันที่ 13 พฤศจิกายน 2558  เวลา 10.30 น. ที่ห้องประชุมคอซิมบี้ ชั้น 2 อาคารศูนย์ประชุม กลุ่มจังหวัดอันดามัน ศาลากลางจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายจำเริญ ทิพญพงศ์ธาดา ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานการประชุมคณะกรรมการร่วมภาครัฐและเอกชนเพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาทางเศรษฐกิจ (กรอ.) จังหวัดภูเก็ตครั้งที่ 1/2559 โดยมีนายประเจียด อักษรธรรมกุล รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต หัวหน้าส่วนราชการที่เกี่ยวข้อง ผู้แทนจากสำนักงานนโยบายและแผนการขนส่งและจราจร (สนข.) ผู้นำองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นที่เกี่ยวข้อง หอการค้าจังหวัดภูเก็ต สมาคมธุรกิจการท่องเที่ยวจังหวัดภูเก็ต สภาอุตสาหกรรมการท่องเที่ยวจังหวัดภูเก็ต สมาคมโรงแรมไทยภาคใต้ สมาคมอสังหาริมทรัพย์ภูเก็ต สภาอุตสาหกรรมภูเก็ต และหน่วยงานอื่น ๆ เข้าร่วม

สำหรับวาระการประชุมที่สำคัญ ได้มีการติดตามความคืบหน้าโครงการระบบขนส่งมวลชนจังหวัดภูเก็ตและโครงการอุโมงค์ป่าตอง การแก้ปัญหาการจราจรของจังหวัดภูเก็ต, สรุปภาวะเศรษฐกิจจังหวัดภูเก็ต แนวทางการบริหารจัดการน้ำของจังหวัดภูเก็ต, โครงการ Smart City, โครงการ Smart Growth City,ความก้าวหน้าของการจัดเตรียมงานการแข่งขันโปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์โลก นอกจากนี้ทางหอการค้าจังหวัดภูเก็ต ยังได้มีการนำเสนอความคิดเห็นเพื่อการพัฒนาจังหวัดภูเก็ต โดยขอให้มีการตรวจสอบนอมินีคนไทยที่ร่วมมือกับต่างชาติจดทะเบียนบริษัท โดยให้เร่งรัดจัดเก็บภาษีนำเข้าสู่ภาครัฐ เช่น ผู้ประกอบการด้านการท่องเที่ยว ร้านอาหาร ของที่ระลึก ธุรกิจสปา ธุรกิจท่องเที่ยวทางน้ำ โรงแรมที่พัก เป็นต้น การจัดระบบสัญญาณไฟจราจร การแก้ไขปัญหาเรื่องไฟฟ้าที่ดับบ่อย การแก้ปัญหาเรื่องน้ำประปาที่ขาดแคลน การสนับสนุนการท่องเที่ยวชุมชนวิถีไทยและการปรับปรุงทัศนียภาพประตูเมืองของจังหวัดภูเก็ต
