เปิดอย่างเป็นทางการ ม.อ.วิชาการ ประจำปี 2558 PSU OPEN WEK 2015 “ร่วมกับชุมชน พัฒนาสังคม สู่ประชาคมอาเซียน”

เมื่อวันที่ 17 พฤศจิกายน 255 ณ ห้องประชุมหลวงอนุภาษภูเก็ตการ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต  ฯพณฯท่าน ชวน หลีกภัย อดีตนายกรัฐมนตรี เป็นประธานพิธีเปิด ม.อ.วิชาการ ประจำปี 2558 ภายใต้แนวคิด ม.อ.วิชาการร่วมกับชุมชน พัฒนาสังคม สู่ประชาคมอาเซียน ซึ่งมีนายจำเริญ ทิพญพงศ์ธาดา ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต กล่าวต้อนรับ และรองศาสตราจารย์ภูวดล บุตรรัตน์ รองอธิการบดีวิทยาเขตภูเก็ต กล่าวรายงานการจัดงาน

ภายในงานได้มีปาฐกถาพิเศษ หัวข้อ “สองคาบสมุทร อันดามัน-อ่าวไทย ในมิติด้านการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และประชาคมอาเซียน” โดยฯพณฯท่าน ชวน หลีกภัย อดีตนายกรัฐมนตรี ซึ่งภายในงาน ม.อ.วิชาการ ประจำปี 2558 ยังมีกิจกรรมการแข่งขันสร้างความเข้าใจการแก้ไขปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อม ชิงรางวัล สอบวัดความรู้ด้านวิทยาศาสตร์และคณิตศาสตร์ การแข่งขันด้านภาษา การอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติต่างๆ เป็นต้น ซึ่งจัดระหว่างวันที่ 17 – 18 พฤศจิกายน 2558

การจัดงาน ม.อ.วิชาการ ครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อแสดงผลงานทางวิชาการ และเผยแพร่ชื่อเสียงของมหาวิทยาลัย โดยเน้นให้เห็นถึงบทบาทของมหาวิทยาลัยในด้านวิชาการเพื่อการพัฒนาความเจริญก้าวหน้าให้แก่ชุมชนภาคใต้ สำหรับรูปแบบการจัดงาน ม.อ.วิชาการ ประจำปี 2558 มีแนวคิดในการจัดงาน คือ “บ่มเพราะคนดี ชี้นำสังคม สั่งสมปัญญา พัฒนางานวิจัย 2558 ม.อ.วิชาการ ร่วมกับชุมชน พัฒนาสังคม สู่ประชาคมอาเซียน”
