เทศบาลตำบลศรีสุนทรจัดโครงการเทศบาลตำบลศรีสุนทรพบประชาชน
เมื่อวันที่ 10 พฤษภาคม  2559  ว่าที่ ร.ต. วิกรม จากที่ นายอำเภอถลาง เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดโครงการ เทศบาลตำบลศรีสุนทรพบประชาชน ประจำปีงบประมาณ 2559 โดยมี นายวรวุฒิ ทรงยศ นายกเทศมนตรีตำบลศรีสุนทร ผู้บริหาร สมาชิกสภาและส่วนราชการที่เกี่ยวข้องเข้าร่วม

ทั้งนี้เทศบาลตำบลศรีสุนทร เป็นองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นที่ได้รับการยกฐานะจากองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลเป็นเทศบาลตำบล เมื่อวันที่ 7 ตุลาคม 2554 มีหน้าที่ในการจัดบริการสาธารณะให้กับประชาชนในพื้นที่จำนวน 8 หมู่บ้าน มีพื้นที่ทั้งหมด 32.95 ตารางกิโลเมตร มีประชากรจำนวน 21,489 คน ประชากรส่วนใหญ่ประกอบอาชีพเกษตรกรรม ทำสวนยางพาราและรับจ้างทั่วไป เทศบาลตำบลศรีสุนทรได้ตระหนักถึงบทบาทหน้าที่และมุ่งเน้นการให้บริการอย่างทั่วถึง จึงได้จัดโครงการนี้ขึ้นเพื่อเสริมสร้างความสุขให้แก่ประชาชน สร้างความใกล้ชิดระหว่างเทศบาลกับประชาชน เกิดความร่วมมือระหว่างหน่วยงานราชการ ภาคเอกชนและประชาชน โดยการนำบริการในด้านต่าง ๆ จากหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชนมาให้บริการนอกสถานที่ มีการจำหน่ายสินค้าราคาประหยัดจากห้างร้านต่าง ๆ เช่น การจำหน่ายสินค้าธงฟ้าราคาประหยัด จำหน่ายผักปลอดสารพิษ จำหน่ายสินค้าของกลุ่มอาชีพ จำหน่ายไข่ไก่ราคาถูก บริการเปลี่ยนถ่ายน้ำมันเครื่องฟรีและบริการต่าง ๆ อีกมากมาย
