จังหวัดภูเก็ตประชุมคณะกรรมการศูนย์อำนวยการป้องกันและปราบปรามยาเสพติด (ศอ.ปส.จ.ภก) พบพืชกระท่อมระบาดเป็นอันดับ 1

เมื่อวันที่ 26 กันยายน  2559  ที่ห้องประชุม อาคารคอซิมบี้ ศาลากลางจังหวัดภูเก็ต คณะกรรมการศูนย์อำนวยการป้องกันและปราบปรามยาเสพติดจังหวัดภูเก็ตได้จัดประชุมคณะกรรมการโดยมีนายอนิรุทธ์ บัวอ่อน ป้องกันจังหวัดภูเก็ตและส่วนราชการที่เกี่ยวข้องเข้าร่วม

การประชุมในครั้งนี้เป็นการติดตามผลการดำเนินงานของส่วนราชการต่าง ๆ ในการป้องกันและแก้ไขปัญหายาเสพติด ทั้งในด้านป้องกัน ด้านปราบปราม ด้านบำบัดและบริหารจัดการอย่างบูรณาการ ซึ่งยาเสพติดที่มีการระบาดที่สุดของจังหวัดภูเก็ตได้แก่พืชกระท่อม รองลงมาได้แก่ยาบ้าและยาไอซ์

ทั้งนี้ในการป้องกันและปราบปรามในส่วนของพืชกระท่อม ทางเจ้าหน้าที่ก็ได้การจับกุมอย่างต่อเนื่อง ซึ่งปัจจุบันพบว่าการลักลอบบนพืชกระท่อมส่วนใหญ่ยังใช้วิธีการขนส่งทางรถโดยสารประจำทาง แม้เจ้าหน้าที่จะมีการกวดขันแต่ก็ตรวจสอบได้ยากเนื่องจากมีการเก็บซ่อนในช่องลับ ทำให้เจ้าหน้าที่ตรวจสอบลำบาก ถ้าหากไม่มีสายข่าว ซึ่งจากการเฝ้าระวังทำให้เจ้าหน้าที่สามารถจับกุมได้อย่างต่อเนื่อง ซึ่งทางเจ้าหน้าที่จะได้มีการเฝ้าระวังในจุดเสี่ยงทุกจุด เพื่อป้องกันการลักลอบนำเข้ายาเสพติดเข้ามายังพื้นที่จังหวัดภูเก็ต
