คณะกรรมาธิการปฏิรูปการศึกษาและพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์ สภาปฏิรูปแห่งชาติ (สปช.)เขตพื้นที่ภาคใต้ ร่วมกับ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏภูเก็ต เปิดสัมมนารับฟังความเห็นประชาชนด้านปฏิรูปการศึกษาและพัฒนามนุษย์ โดยมี ผศ.ณรงค์ พุทธิชีวิน รองประธานกรรมาธิการปฏิรูปการศึกษาฯ เป็นประธาน ร่วมด้วย นายนิสิต จันทร์สมวงศ์ ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายดิสัน แหล่ทองคำ รองอธิการบดี ม.ราชภัฏภูเก็ต และ คณะกรรมาธิการปฏิรูปการศึกษา ได้แก่ นายนำชัย กฤษณาสกุล นายเขมทัต สุคนธสิงห์ นายนิฟาริด ระเด่นอาหมัด ตลอดจน ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา คณาจารย์ นักเรียน นักศึกษา ผู้ปกครอง ภาคเอกชน ผู้นำท้องถิ่น และประชาชน จากจังหวัดต่างๆ ในเขตภาคใต้ เข้าร่วมเป็นจำนวนมาก ณ ศูนย์ประชุม มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏภูเก็ต

ผศ.ณรงค์ พุทธิชีวิน รองประธานกรรมาธิการปฏิรูปการศึกษาฯกล่าวว่า “การปฏิรูปประเทศทุกด้านต้องยึดโยงกับประชาชนและผู้เกี่ยวข้องทุกภาคส่วน สำหรับการศึกษาเป็นประเด็นที่มีความสำคัญ และเกี่ยวข้องกับการปฏิรูปประเทศและประชาชนโดยตรง จึงจัดให้มีการรับฟังความเห็นของประชาชนอย่างทั่วถึงและรอบด้าน เพื่อให้การปฏิรูปการศึกษาตอบโจทย์ความต้องการของสังคมได้ตรงจุด อีกทั้ง การปฏิรูปการศึกษาและการพัฒนามนุษย์จำเป็นต้องยึดหลักการมีส่วนร่วมของทุกภาคส่วนผลักดันให้การปฏิรูป ดังนั้น กรรมาธิการได้จัดให้มีการสัมมนาเพื่อรับฟังความคิดเห็น และข้อเสนอแนะที่เป็นประโยชน์เกี่ยวกับแนวทางการปฏิรูปการศึกษาและพัฒนามนุษย์ ซึ่งผู้เข้าร่วมสัมมนาในครั้งนี้ เป็นผู้มีบทบาทสำคัญในการพัฒนาการศึกษา โดยคณะกรรมาธิการฯ จะนำข้อคิดเห็นอันเป็นประโยชน์ที่ได้จากการสัมมนานำเสนอต่อสภาปฏิรูปแห่งชาติพิจารณาดำเนินการต่อไป”

ด้าน นายดิสัน แหล่ทองคำ รองอธิการบดี กล่าวว่า มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏภูเก็ต เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งเดียวในฝั่งอันดามันที่มีการจัดการศึกษาอย่างเต็มรูปแบบ ตั้งแต่ระดับเตรียมอนุบาล ประถมศึกษา ปริญญาตรี ปริญญาโท และปริญญาเอก เพื่อสนองตอบต่อความต้องการของประชาชนในพื้นที่และจังหวัดใกล้เคียง ดังปรัชญาของมหาวิทยาลัยที่ว่า สถาบันการศึกษา เพื่อการพัฒนาท้องถิ่น ปฏิบัติภารกิจบนพื้นฐานแห่งความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม และการปฏิรูปการศึกษา เป็นอีกประเด็นที่ทางมหาวิทยาลัยให้ความสำคัญเสมอมา และต้องการเป็นส่วนหนึ่งที่จะช่วยพัฒนากระบวนการจัดการศึกษา โดยเฉพาะด้านการกำหนดนโยบายและทิศทางการจัดการศึกษาให้มีประสิทธิภาพและประสิทธิผลหวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่าผลลัพธ์จากการช่วยระดมความรู้ ความคิดเห็นในครั้งนี้จะเป็นพลังพลิกโฉมการศึกษาไทยให้ก้าวหน้าทัดเทียมนานาอารยประเทศ
