โรงเรียนภูเก็ตวิทยาลัย ปีการศึกษา 2558 มอบทุนการศึกษาพร้อมส่งตัวครูตามโครงการ “สร้างครู สร้างเยาวชน สร้างสังคมภูเก็ต

เมื่อวันที่ 29 พฤษภาคม 2558  เวลา 09.40 น. ที่หอประชุม หลวงพ่อเพรา พุทธฺสโร โรงเรียนภูเก็ตวิทยาลัย อ.เมือง จ.ภูเก็ต นายสมเกียรติ สังข์ขาวสุทธิรักษ์ รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานในพิธีมอบทุนการศึกษาและส่งตัวครูรุ่นที่ 1 โครงการ “สร้างครู สร้างเยาวชน สร้างสังคมภูเก็ต”

โดยมูลนิธิเพื่อการศึกษาของศิษย์เก่าภูเก็ตวิทยาลัยและโรงเรียนภูเก็ตวิทยาลัย ปีการศึกษา 2558 โดยมีนายบัณฑูร ทองตัน ประธานสภาการศึกษาภูเก็ต นายนิกร ธีระจามร ประธานมูลนิธิเพื่อการศึกษาของศิษย์เก่าภูเก็ตวิทยาลัย ผู้สนับสนุนทุนการศึกษา ประกอบด้วย นายประวัติ สุวรรณดิษฐกุล ตัวแทนนายมีชัย สุวรรณดิษฐกุล, นางสาวเพ็ญพัฒน์ มรกตวิศิษฐ์ ตัวแทนนายธนิต รัตนกำชัย, นายสมชาย ศิลปานนท์,นางวิรัตน์ รวยริน, คณะศิษย์เก่าภูเก็ตวิทยาลัย รุ่น 2509, นางมยุรี สุขสมบูรณ์ ตัวแทนนายทศพร เทพบุตร, นายทศภณ ปจันทบุตร และนายกฤตภาส ศิลปานนท์ ตลอดจนนายอุเทน จิตต์สำรวย ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนภูเก็ตวิทยาลัย คณะผู้บริหารมูลนิธิเพื่อการศึกษาของศิษย์เก่าภูเก็ตวิทยาลัยและโรงเรียนภูเก็ตวิทยาลัย คณะครู นักเรียน และนักเรียนผู้เข้ารับทุนรุ่นที่ 1- รุ่นที่ 5 ระหว่างปีการศึกษา 2553-2557

โอกาสนี้ ได้ส่งมอบนักศึกษาที่สำเร็จการศึกษาและรับทุนการศึกษารุ่นที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2553 เพื่อเข้าเป็นครู โรงเรียนภูเก็ตวิทยาลัย จำนวน 2 คน ได้แก่ นายณัฐวรรธน์ ปัญธัญญลักษณ์ สำเร็จการศึกษา หลักสูตรครุศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาสังคมศึกษา คณะครุศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏภูเก็ต กับ นางสาวกิ่งแก้ว ขอถาวรทรัพย์ สำเร็จการศึกษา หลักสูตรการศึกษาบัณฑิต สาขาการสอนคณิตศาสตร์ คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา

สำหรับโครงการสร้างครู สร้างเยาวชน สร้างสังคมภูเก็ต เกิดขึ้นจากปัญหาขาดแคลนครูที่มีมายาวนาน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการขาดแคลนครูจากการเกษียณอายุราชการ และครูที่เกษียณอายุราชการก่อนกำหนด แม้กระทั่งนโยบายครูคืนถิ่นของภาครัฐ ซึ่งนโยบายดังกล่าวเป็นการแก้ปัญหาที่ปลายเหตุและกลับมาสร้างปัญหาใหม่ คือ เกิดเป็นวงจรการเคลื่อนย้ายครูอย่างไม่มีวันจบสิ้น นโยบายครูคืนถิ่นดูเหมือนว่าจะเป็นนโยบายที่ดี คือ ไม่ตอบสนองความต้องการของโรงเรียนที่ต้องการครูตรงตามสาขาที่ขาดแคลน จากปัญหาดังกล่าว มูลนิธิเพื่อการศึกษาของศิษย์เก่าภูเก็ตวิทยาลัย จึงได้ร่วมมือกับโรงเรียนภูเก็ตวิทยา ริเริ่มโครงการ “สร้างครู สร้างเยาวชน สร้างสังคมภูเก็ต” โดยคณะกรรมการดำเนินงานของโครงการฯ ทำการคัดเลือกเยาวชนที่มีภูมิลำเนาในจังหวัดภูเก็ตจบการศึกษาระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย และผ่านการสอบคัดเลือกจากมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐศึกษาต่อคณะครุศาสตร์/ศึกษาศาสตร์ โดยนักเรียนดังกล่าวจะได้รับทุนการศึกษา ทุนละ 600,000 บาท เพื่อเป็นค่าใช้จ่ายในการเรียนระดับปริญญาตรีระยะเวลาตามหลักสูตร 5 ปี ซึ่งขณะนี้มีนักศึกษาทุนทั้งหมด 5 รุ่น จำนวน 8 คน ซึ่งโครงการดังกล่าวได้รับการสนับสนุนทุนการศึกษาจากผู้ที่มองเห็นความสำคัญในการสร้างครูที่ดี มีคุณภาพให้แก่ท้องถิ่น
