จังหวัดภูเก็ตจัดพิธีลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MOU) โครงการสร้างความปรองดองสมานฉันท์ โดยใช้หลักธรรมทางพระพุทธศาสนา หมู่บ้านรักษาศีล 5 และโครงการจัดการเรียนการสอนธรรมศึกษาในหน่วยงาน และสถานศึกษา จังหวัดภูเก็ต.

เมื่อวันที่ 27 กรกฎาคม  2558  เวลา 13.30 น.ที่ห้องประชุมชั้น 6 โรงเรียนพุทธมงคลนิมิตร ตำบลตลาดใหญ่ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดภูเก็ต สำนักงานพระพุทธศาสนาจังหวัดภูเก็ต ร่วมกับหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง จัดประชุมโครงการสร้างความปรองดองสมานฉันท์ โดยใช้หลักธรรมทางพระพุทธศาสนา “หมู่บ้านรักษาศีล 5” โดยมี พระราชสิริมุนี เจ้าคณะจังหวัดภูเก็ต และพระประสาธน์สารโสภณ เจ้าคณะจังหวัดภูเก็ต (ธรรมยุต) คณะสงฆ์ พร้อมด้วย นายนิสิต จันทร์สมวงศ์ ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายภาคภูมิ อินทรสุวรรณ ปลัดจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายวาทิน กรดเต็ม ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานพระพุทธศาสนาจังหวัดภูเก็ต และหัวหน้าส่วนราชการที่เกี่ยวข้อง ตลอดจนองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นในพื้นที่เข้าร่วมประชุม

การประชุมในครั้งนี้ เป็นไปตามดำริของ เจ้าพระคุณสมเด็จพระมหารัชมังคลาจารย์ ผู้ปฏิบัติหน้าที่สมเด็จพระสังฆราช เพื่อเสริมสร้างความปรองดองสมานฉันท์โดยใช้หลักธรรมทางพระพุทธศาสนา “หมู่บ้านรักษาศีล 5″ซึ่งเป็นนโยบายของคณะสงฆ์ และคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติ (คสช.) ทั้งนี้ ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต ยังได้มอบนโยบายให้ส่วนราชการที่เกี่ยวข้อง ประชาสัมพันธ์ให้เจ้าหน้าที่ของแต่ละหน่วยงาน และประชาชนในจังหวัดภูเก็ต สมัครเข้าร่วมโครงการหมู่บ้านรักษาศีล 5 ผ่าน (เว็บไซต์ ศริ-ลา-ไฟฟ์-ดอทคอม) (www. sila5.com ) เพื่อรณรงค์ให้ประชาชนมีศีลธรรม และสร้างความปรองดอง โดยใช้หลักคำสอนของพระพุทธศาสนา นอกจากนี้ หลังจากเสร็จสิ้นการประชุมได้มีการร่วมประกอบพิธีลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ(MOU)โครงการสร้างความความปรองดองสมานฉันท์ โดยใช้หลักธรรมทางพระพุทธศาสนา “หมู่บ้านรักษาศีล 5” โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวฯ และสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าฯ พระบรมราชินีนาถ เสริมสร้างความปรองดองสมานฉันท์ ลดปัญหาความขัดแย้ง สร้างความมั่นคง ความปลอดภัยในชีวิตและทรัพย์สินให้กับประชาชนในประเทศ โดยให้ประชาชนได้นำหลักธรรมทางพระพุทธศาสนามาใช้ในการดำเนินชีวิตอย่างมีความสุข และเป็นการปลูกจิตสำนึก และสร้างความตระหนัก รักและเชิดชูสถาบันชาติ ศาสนา พระมหากษัตริย์ ให้เป็นสถาบันหลักของประเทศอย่างมั่นคง หลังจากนั้น ก็ได้มีการประกอบพิธีลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงร่วมมือ (MOU) การจัดการเรียนการสอนธรรมศึกษาในหน่วยงานและสถานศึกษา จังหวัดภูเก็ต ซึ่งเป็นอีกหนึ่งนโยบายของรัฐบาล ที่ส่งเสริมสนับสนุนการเรียนการสอนธรรมศึกษาในหน่วยงานและสถานศึกษาในพื้นที่ เพื่อเป็นการขับเคลื่อน และกำกับดูแลปฏิบัติตามนโยบายดังกล่าวในระดับภูมิภาคต่อไป.
