เมื่อวันที่ 17 ธันวาคม 2558  เวลา 10.00 น. โรงพยาบาลสิริโรจน์ Phuket International Hospital จัดงานแถลงข่าวการจัดการแข่งขัน สิริโรจน์ Run for Health Run for Charity มินิมาราธอน ครั้งที่ 4 โดยมีคุณพงษ๋สิงห์ ณ นคร  ประธานสภาเทศบาลนครภูเก็ต คุณอุทิศ ลิ่มสกุล ผู้ช่วยผู้อำนวยการ ททท.สำนักงานภูเก็ต และนายแพทย์วีรวัฒน์ ยอแสงรัตน์ ผู้อำนวยการด้านการแพทย์ โรงพยาบาลสิริโรจน์ เข้าร่วมในการแถลงข่าว

นายแพทย์วีรวัฒน์ ยอแสงรัตน์  กล่าวว่า การจัดการแข่งขัน สิริโรจน์ Run for Health Run for Charity มินิมาราธอนทั้ง 3 ครั้ง ที่ผ่านมาถือว่าประสบความสำเร็จอย่างมาก มีจำนวนนักวิ่งเพิ่มขึ้นเรื่อยๆ ซึ่งในปีนี้การจัดการแข่งขันมินิมาราธอนของโรงพยาบาลสิริโรจน์ ยังคงได้รับพระมหากรุณาธิคุณอันสูงสุด จากสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี พระราชทานถ้วยรางวัลสำหรับนักวิ่งประเภทมินิมาราธอนที่ชนะการแข่งขันแบบ Overall ชายและหญิง โดยรายได้ส่วนหนึ่งจากการจัดงานทูลเกล้าฯ ถวายสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามราชกุมารี เพื่อสนับสนุนกิจการของหน่สยเฉพาะกิจสิรินธร เช่นเดียวกับการจัดงานในทุกครั้งที่ผ่านมา

การจัดการแข่งขัน สิริโรจน์ Run for Health Run for Charity เริ่มต้นจากการเฉลิมฉลอง การครบรอบ 30 ปีแห่งการให้บริการทางการแพทย์ของโรงพยาบาลสิริโรจน์ โดยมี พันตรีนายแพทย์อนุโรจน์ ธารสิริโรจน์ เป็นผู้ก่อตั้งโรงพยาบาล ซึ่งการจัดการแข่งขันในครั้งนี้ มีแรงสนับสนุนเป็นอย่างดีจากหน่วยงานทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชน ได้แก่ เทศบาลนครภูเก็ต, เทศบาลตำบลวิชิต, การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย สำนักงานภูเก็ต, มูลนิธิเมืองเก่าภูเก็ต, สโมสรโรตารีจังซีลอน, ชมรมวิทยุสมัครเล่นควบคุมข่ายจังหวัดภูเก็ต และชุมชนย่านเมืองเก่าภูเก็ต

เส้นทางวิ่งสำหรับประเภทมินิมาราธอน จะเริ่มต้นที่โรงพยาบาลสิริโรจน์ ทางเข้าด้านถนนบางใหญ่ ไปยังถนนแม่หลวนขึ้นเขารัง ตรงไปยังถนนปฏิพัทธ์เข้าสู่ถนนดีบุก ถนนถลาง ถนนกระบี่ ต่อเนื่องมายังถนนวิชิตสงคราม วิ่งตรงผ่านสี่แยกโรงเรียนดาราสมุทร เลี้ยวขวาเข้าสู่เส้นชัย ณ โรงพยาบาลสิริโรจน์ รวมระยะทาง 12 กิโลเมตร และประเภทฟันรันจะมีการปรับเส้นทางการวิ่ง โดยปล่อยตัวที่โรงพยาบาลสิริโรจน์ ทางเข้าด้านถนนบางใหญ่ ตรงไปยังถนนตัดใหม่เข้าซอยนาเสือ ผ่านโรงเรียนวิชิตสงคราม เลี้ยวซ้ายที่สี่แยกโรงเรียนดาราสมุทร และเลี้ยวขวาเข้าสู่เส้นชัย ณ โรงพยาบาลสิริโรจน์ รวมระยะทาง 4 กิโลเมตร
