เทศบาลตำบลราไวย์ จัดโครงการสืบสานขนมไทยกวน กาละแมราไวย์

เมื่อวันที่ 2 มิถุนายน  2559 ที่สำนักสงฆ์ในหาน หมู่ที่ 1 ต.ราไวย์ อ.เมืองภูเก็ต นายอรุณ โสฬส นายกเทศมนตรีเทศบาลตำบลราไวย์ เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดโครงการสืบสานขนมไทย กาละแมราไวย์ เพื่อสนับสนุน รักษาขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณีและสืบสานขนมไทยให้คงอยู่ โดยมีคณะผู้บริหารเทศบาลตำบลราไวย์ หัวหน้าส่วนราชการ เจ้าหน้าที่ ประชาชนในพื้นที่และผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องเข้าร่วม

นายอรุณ โสฬส นายกเทศมนตรีตำบลราไวย์ เปิดเผยว่า เทศบาลตำบลราไวย์ ได้เล็งเห็นถึงความสำคัญในการจัดกิจกรรมสืบสานขนมไทย กาละแมราไวย์ เพื่อเป็นการส่งเสริมทางด้านศาสนาและประเพณีไทย และเป็นการสืบสานการกวนขนมไทย กาละแม ต่อจากอาวาสวัดในหาน (ปลัดเลียบ) เจ้าอาวาสคนแรกของวัดในหานมาเป็นเวลากว่า 30 ปี ให้สืบทอดต่อไป และคงไว้ให้ชาวบ้านตำบลราไวย์ และชาวบ้านบริเวณใกล้เคียงได้มีโอกาสทำบุญรักษาเอกลักษณ์ขนมไทยไว้และก่อให้เกิดความสามัคคีกันในหมู่คณะ ประกอบกับ พรบ.เทศบาล พ.ศ.2496 เทศบาลมีหน้าที่ต้องบำรุงศิลปะจารีตประเพณี ภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นและวัฒนธรรมอันดีงามของท้องถิ่นและเป็นการสร้างความรักความสามัคคีของคนในชุมชน
