อาจารย์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏภูเก็ต ร่วมประเมินหลักสูตรอย่างเข้มข้น โดยตัวแทนจาก สกอ. แนะกำหนดหลักสูตรให้สอดคล้องกับมาตรฐานมหาวิทยาลัยทั่วประเทศ สู่การผลิตนิสิตจบใหม่แข่งขันได้บนเวทีอาเซียน   ณ ศูนย์ประชุม และหอประชุมใหญ่  มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏภูเก็ต      

ผศ.ดร. ประภา กาหยี อธิการบดี มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏภูเก็ต เผยว่า “มหาวิทยาลัยจัดโครงการอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการเรื่อง ‘เกณฑ์ตัวบ่งชี้การประกันคุณภาพการศึกษาภายในสถานศึกษา ระดับอุดมศึกษา พ.ศ.2557’ โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก ศ.นพ.วุฒิชัย ธนาพงศธร ตัวแทนจากสำนักงานคณะกรรมการอุดมศึกษา (สกอ.) ที่มาบรรยายพิเศษเรื่อง การประกันคุณภาพระดับหลักสูตร แก่คณาจารย์ทุกคณะ และทุกโปรแกรมสาขาวิชาใน มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏภูเก็ต เพื่อกำหนดกรอบแนวคิดของหลักสูตรที่ทางมหาวิทยาลัยได้ใช้อยู่ สู่การพัฒนาตัวบ่งชี้รอบใหม่  เพื่อให้มั่นใจได้ว่าเนื้อหาที่ใช้ในการเรียนการสอน มีคุณภาพอย่างแท้จริง และผ่านการประเมินจาก สกอ. เนื่องจากต้องเตรียมความพร้อมให้ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏภูเก็ต มีศักยภาพด้านวิชาการ และสามารถป้อนนิสิตจบใหม่สู่ตลาดงานในบริบทของการเปิดเสรีอาเซียน ช่วงปี พ.ศ. 2558 เป็นต้นไป โดยช่วงเวลาการเปลี่ยนผ่านนี้เองที่ คณาจารย์ทุกท่าน คือฟันเฟืองสำคัญที่จะช่วยยกระดับ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏภูเก็ต สู่การเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งอาเซียน ซึ่งเป็นเป้าหมายใหญ่ของพวกเรา”

ทั้งนี้วิทยากรได้ถ่ายทอดความรู้เรื่องหลักเกณฑ์ในการกำหนดหลักสูตรที่ใช้อยู่ รวมถึงหลักสูตรที่ถูกสร้างขึ้นมาใหม่ ให้สอดคล้องกับมาตรฐานการศึกษาของสถาบันอุดมศึกษาทั่วประเทศ อย่างเป็นระบบ หรือที่เรียกกันว่า การประกันคุณภาพการศึกษา (Quality Assurance) ซึ่งมีขั้นตอนอยู่ 3 กระบวนการ ได้แก่ 1.ควบคุม 2. ตรวจสอบ และ 3. รับประกัน ร่วมด้วยแนะนำการเขียนระบบการจัดการผู้สอน และแผนที่กระจายความรับผิดชอบ (Curriculum Mapping) ซึ่งเป็นเสมือนคู่มือที่อาจารย์ทุกคนต้องใช้ พร้อมกันนั้นอาจารย์ในสาขาวิชาต่างๆ ได้แบ่งกลุ่มนำเสนอหลักสูตรการสอนต่อวิทยากร เพื่อขอรับการประเมิน และคำปรึกษาในการปรับปรุงให้ตรงตามข้อกำหนด
