เมื่อวันที่ 15 พฤษภาคม 2558 เวลา 10.00 น. ที่ห้องประชุมสภาองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายสรธรรม จินดา รองนายกองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานการประชุมเตรียมความพร้อมจัดงาน อบจ.สัญจร ครั้งที่ 3 ประจำปีงบประมาณ 2558 ในเขตพื้นที่เทศบาลนครภูเก็ต อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดภูเก็ต โดยมี นายบุญเสริม สุวรรณรัฐภูมิ ที่ปรึกษานายก อบจ.ภูเก็ต นายธีระ เจี่ยสกุล ประธานสภา อบจ.ภูเก็ต พร้อมด้วย คณะสมาชิกสภา อบจ.ภูเก็ต หัวหน้าส่วนราชการ เจ้าหน้าที่ อบจ.ภูเก็ต รวมถึง นายกวี ตันสุคตานนท์ รองนายกเทศมนตรีนครภูเก็ต นายพงษ์สิงห์ ณ นคร ประธานสภาเทศบาลนครภูเก็ต ตลอดจนผู้นำชุมชนในเขตเทศบาลนครภูเก็ต และผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้อง เข้าร่วมการประชุม

องค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดภูเก็ต ได้กำหนดจัดงาน “อบจ.สัญจร” ครั้งที่ 3 ประจำปีงบประมาณ 2558 ร่วมกับจังหวัดภูเก็ต และเทศบาลนครภูเก็ต ในวันเสาร์ที่ 13 มิถุนายน 2558 เวลา 08.00-14.00 น. ณ บริเวณสนามชัย อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดภูเก็ต ทั้งนี้ เพื่อพบปะ รับฟังความคิดเห็นปัญหาความต้องการของประชาชน จัดบริการสาธารณะในการพัฒนาท้องถิ่น โดยจัดกิจกรรมการออกหน่วยให้บริการแก่ประชาชน ทั้งของหน่วยงานราชการและเอกชน การให้ความบันเทิง และจัดเวทีประชาคม อีกทั้งเพื่อการสร้างความปรองดองสมานฉันท์ตามแนวทางของศูนย์ปรองดองสมานฉันท์เพื่อการปฏิรูปประชาชนทุกภาคส่วน จึงได้จัดให้มีการประชุมในครั้งนี้เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมในการจัดงาน อบจ.สัญจร ของฝ่ายต่างๆ.
