เมื่อวันที่ 13 มีนาคม 2558 เวลา 08.45 น. ที่บริเวณอนุสาวรีย์ท้าวเทพกระษัตรี ท้าวศรีสุนทร (สี่แยกท่าเรือ) ตำบลศรีสุนทร อำเภอถลาง จังหวัดภูเก็ต นายไพบูลย์ อุปัติศฤงค์ นายกองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดภูเก็ต พร้อมด้วย นายวัชรินทร์ ปฐมวัฒนพงศ์ ปลัด อบจ.ภูเก็ต คณะสมาชิกสภา อบจ.ภูเก็ต หัวหน้าส่วนราชการ และเจ้าหน้าที่ อบจ.ภูเก็ต เข้าร่วมวางพวงมาลา ในพิธีสดุดีวีรกรรมท้าวเทพกระษัตรี ท้าวศรีสุนทร ประจำปี 2558 โดยมี นายนิสิต จันทร์สมวงศ์ ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธาน

จังหวัดภูเก็ต นอกจากเป็นเมืองท่องเที่ยวที่สำคัญระดับโลกแล้ว ประวัติศาสตร์เก่าแก่อันยาวนาน สืบนับย้อนหลังเมื่อ 229 ปีที่ผ่านมา สมัยกรุงรัตนโกสินทร์ ภูเก็ตเดิมเป็นเมืองถลาง และในปี พ.ศ.2328 พม่าได้แต่งกองทัพเรือยกเข้าตีหัวเมืองชายฝั่งทะเลตะวันตกมาถึงเมืองถลาง ซึ่งขณะนั้น พระยาพิมลเจ้าเมืองถึงแก่อนิจกรรม คุณหญิงจันภริยาเจ้าเมืองถลาง และคุณมุกน้องสาว ได้ใช้ความปรีชาสามารถรวบรวมชาวเมืองต่อสู้กองทัพพม่ารักษาเมืองถลาง ให้รอดพ้นจากการย่ำยี ของกองทัพพม่าไว้ได้ เมื่อวันที่ 13 มีนาคม 2328 เกียรติคุณและวีรกรรมอันอาจหาญครั้งนี้ พระบาทสมเด็จพระพุทธยอดฟ้าจุฬาโลกมหาราชทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าโปรดกระหม่อม ตั้งคุณหญิงจันเป็นท้าวเทพกระษัตรี และตั้งคุณมุกเป็นท้าวศรีสุนทร ต่อมาเมื่อวันที่ 29 เมษายน 2509 นายอ้วน สุระกุล อดีตผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต ร่วมกับชาวเมืองภูเก็ตได้ก่อสร้างอนุสาวรีย์ท้าวเทพกระษัตรี ท้าวศรีสุนทรไว้ที่สี่แยกท่าเรือ ตำบลศรีสุนทร อำเภอถลาง ลักษณะเป็นรูปปั้นรมดำหล่อด้วยสัมฤทธิ์สองท่านหล่อในท่ายืนมือถือดาบ พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช เสด็จพระราชดำเนินเปิดอนุสาวรีย์ เมื่อวันที่ 23 พฤษภาคม 2510

ในการนี้ จังหวัดภูเก็ตได้จัดงานเพื่อย้อนรอยประวัติศาสตร์เมืองภูเก็ต ที่มีมากว่า 220 ปี เพื่อเป็นการเชิดชูเกียรติประวัติและตระหนักถึงวีรกรรมอันยิ่งใหญ่ของวีรสตรีทั้งสองท่าน สำหรับในปี 2558 จังหวัดภูเก็ตได้จัดกิจกรรมต่างๆ ประกอบด้วย จัดพิธีอุปสมบทหมู่ อุทิศส่วนบุญส่วนกุศลแด่ท้าวเทพกระษัตรี ท้าวศรีสุนทร ในวันที่ 7 มีนาคม 2558 ณ วัดอนุภาษกฤษฎาราม (เก็ตโฮ่) ซึ่งมีผู้เข้าร่วมอุปสมบท จำนวน 20 คน จัดอบรมมัคคุเทศก์ประวัติศาสตร์ถลาง ระหว่างวันที่ 5-6 มีนาคม 2558 จัดกิจกรรมทัวร์แหล่งประวัติศาสตร์แฟนพันธุ์แท้ ในวันที่ 11 มีนาคม 2558 พื้นที่จังหวัดพังงา จัดการแข่งขันวิ่งมินิมาราธอน กิจกรรมแรลลี่ และจักรยานคันทรีคลอสบนเส้นทางประวัติศาสตร์ ในวันที่ 8 มีนาคม 2558 ณ พื้นที่อนุสรณ์สถานเมืองถลาง จัดพิธีทำบุญตักบาตร และพิธีบวงสรวงปู่ย่า ตายาย บรรพชนผู้กล้าเมืองถลาง ในวันที่ 12 มีนาคม 2558 ณ สวนพระพุทธศาสนาวัดม่วงโกมารภัจจ์ จัดพิธีวางพวงมาลา และสดุดีวีรกรรมท้าวเทพกระษัตรี ท้าวศรีสุนทร ในวันที่ 13 มีนาคม 2558 ณ อนุสาวรีย์ท้าวเทพกระษัตรี ท้าวศรีสุนทร และจัดการแสดงละครอิงประวัติศาสตร์ถลาง ประกอบแสง สี เสียง ลานศิลปวัฒนธรรม และกิจกรรมอื่นๆ อาทิ การจำหน่ายอาหารพื้นเมือง สินค้าโอท็อป และอาหารอร่อยภูเก็ต เป็นต้น ระหว่างวันที่ 13-15 มีนาคม 2558 ณ บริเวณพื้นที่อนุสรณ์สถานเมืองถลาง.

    The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought youd have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.
