จังหวัดภูเก็ตประชุมเตรียมความพร้อมการจัดงานวัฒนธรรมท้าวเทพฯ ประจำปี 2560
เมื่อวันที่ 5 ธันวาคม  2560  ที่ห้องประชุมคอซิมบี้ ชั้น2 ศาลากลางจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายสนิท ศรีวิหค รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานการประชุมเตรียมความพร้อมการจัดงานวัฒนธรรม ท้าวเทพกระษัตรี ท้าวศรีสุนทร ประจำปี 2560 โดยมี นางอุทัย พัฒนพิชัย วัฒนธรรมจังหวัดภูเก็ต และส่วนราชการที่เกี่ยวข้องเข้าร่วม

จังหวัดภูเก็ต กำหนดการจัดงานวัฒนธรรมท้าวเทพกระษัตรี ท้าวศรีสุนทร ประจำปี 2560 ในระหว่างวันที่ 4-18 มีนาคม 2560 โดยมีภายในงานมีการจัดกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ประกอบด้วยการจัดพิธีอุปสมบทหมู่ อุทิศส่วนกุศลแด่บรรพชนผู้กล้าเมืองถลาง กำหนดจัดในเสาร์ที่ 4 มีนาคม 2560 ณ วัดเทพวนาราม (ม่าหนิก) การจัดกิจกรรมทัวร์แหล่งประวัติศาสตร์ถลาง ณ สถานที่สำคัญทางประวัติศาสตร์โดยสำนักงานวัฒนธรรมจังหวัดภูเก็ต การแข่งขันจักรยานคันทรีครอส บนเส้นทางประวัติศาสตร์ถลาง ในวันอาทิตย์ที่ 5 มีนาคม 2560 การแข่งขันวิ่งมินิมาราธอนบนเส้นทางประวัติศาสตร์ ณ บริเวณพื้นที่อนุสรณ์สถานเมืองถลาง และในวันอาทิตย์ที่ 12 มีนาคม 2560 กำหนดจัดพิธีบวงสรวงปู่ย่าตายาย บรรพชนผู้กล้าเมืองถลาง มีการทำบุญตักบาตร พิธีบวงสรวงปู่ย่า ตายาย บรรพชนผู้กล้าเมืองถลาง เวลา 09.00 น. ณ สวนพระพุทธศาสนาวัดม่วงโกมารภัจจ์ ต. เทพกระษัตรี อ.ถลาง และในวันที่ 13 มีนาคม เวลา 09.09 น ที่ อนุสาวรีย์ท้าวเทพกระษัตรี ท้าวศรีสุนทร ต.ศรีสุนทร อ.ถลาง ทางสำนักงานวัฒนธรรมจังหวัดภูเก็ต และเทศบาลตำบลศรีสุนทร กำหนดจัดพิธีวางพวงมาลา และสดุดีวีรกรรมท้าวเทพกระษัตรี ท้าวศรีสุนทร และกำหนดจัดแสดงละครอิงประวัติศาสตร์ถลางประกอบแสงสีเสียง ในระหว่างวันที่ 13-15 มีนาคม 2560 ตั้งแต่เวลา 20.30 น. – 23.00 น. ณ บริเวณพื้นที่อนุสรณ์สถานเมืองถลาง พร้อมทั้งมีการจัดลานศิลปวัฒนธรรมพื้นบ้าน จำหน่ายสินค้าพื้นเมือง สินค้าโอท็อป อาหารพื้นเมืองภูเก็ต ตลอดงาน
