ผู้ว่าฯ ภูเก็ตติดตามความคืบหน้าก่อสร้างทางลอดแยกสามกอง เร่งผู้รับจ้างแก้ปัญหามาตรฐานด้านความปลอดภัยโครงการฯ ให้แล้วเสร็จทั้งหมดภายใน 3 วัน ขณะที่งานก่อสร้าง ซึ่งยังเหลืออีกกว่า 50% ให้มีการรายงานผลความก้าวหน้าของแต่ละเนื้องานในทุกเดือน เพื่อเป็นการควบคุมการทำงานของผู้รับจ้างให้แล้วเสร็จเป็นไปตามเป้าหมายที่วางไว้

เมื่อวันที่ 20 กันยายน  2558  นายนิสิต จันทร์สมวงศ์ ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต พร้อมด้วยคณะสื่อมวลชนภูเก็ต ร่วมติดตามความคืบหน้าการก่อสร้างโครงการก่อสร้างทางลอดจุดตัดทางหลวงหมายเลข 402 กับถนนเยาวราช (แยกสามกอง)จังหวัดภูเก็ต ร่วมกับ นายนรินทร์ ศรีสมพันธุ์ ผู้อำนวยการสำนักก่อสร้างสะพาน นายชวเลิศ เลิศชวนะกุล ผู้จัดการโครงการฯ นายสมัคร เลือดวงหัด ผู้อำนวยการแขวงทางหลวงภูเก็ต และนายเฉลิมพล ว่องเกียรติคุณ นายช่างโครงการฯ ทั้งนี้เพื่อให้เกิดความชัดเจนในเรื่องมาตรฐานความปลอดภัย และระยะเวลาการก่อสร้าง ว่าจะแล้วเสร็จเมื่อใด ซึ่งขณะนี้การก่อสร้างโครงการฯ ยังเหลืออีกกว่า 50%

นายนิสิต จันทร์สมวงศ์ กล่าวว่า ทางจังหวัดรวมถึงผู้รับผิดชอบโครงการได้มีการติดตามงานร่วมกันอย่างต่อเนื่อง มาถึงตอนนี้งานยังเหลืออีกกว่า 50% จะทำอย่างไรเพื่อให้เกิดความชัดเจนในเรื่องระยะเวลา เพื่อให้ประชาชนชาวภูเก็ตเห็นว่าจะก่อสร้างแล้วเสร็จเมื่อไหร่ ต้องให้ทางผู้รับจ้างมีการรายงานผลความก้าวหน้าของงานเข้ามาในทุกๆ เดือน และจะต้องแก้ปัญหาเรื่องมาตรฐานความปลอดภัย ให้มีความปลอดภัยเพิ่มมากขึ้น ขณะที่เรื่องการระบายน้ำถ้ายังมีปัญหาอาจจะต้องมีการวางระบบปั้มน้ำถาวร อาจจะทำให้ปัญหาน้ำท่วมทางจราจรลดลง

ขณะที่ นายนรินทร์ ศรีสมพันธุ์ ผู้อำนวยการสำนักก่อสร้างสะพาน กล่าวว่า วาระสำคัญเร่งด่วนที่จะต้องดำเนินการให้แล้วเสร็จ คือเรื่องมาตรฐานความปลอดภัย ซึ่งได้เร่งรัดไปทางบริษัทผู้รับจ้าง แก้ปัญหาเรื่องของถนนเป็นหลุมเป็นบ่อ การวางแนวแบริเออร์ใหม่ให้เป็นแนวยาว เพื่อความปลอดภัย และรวมถึงการติดตั้งอุปกรณ์ความปลอดภัยต่างๆ นอกจากนี้ยังได้เร่งรัดผู้รับจ้างเรื่องการวางท่อระบายน้ำของโครงการฯ เร่งวางท่อระบายน้ำให้ครบ เพื่อที่จะระบายน้ำได้รวดเร็วขึ้น ส่วนไฟฟ้าแสงสว่างให้เสริมความสว่างแนวแบริเออร์เพิ่มขึ้น ตลอดแนวในระยะ 3 เมตร เพื่อให้มีการขับขี่ปลอดภัย ลดการชะลอตัวของรถ ให้สามารถขับเคลื่อนได้เร็วขึ้น ฝั่งขาเข้า ให้มีการเปิดช่องจราจรให้กว้าง ซึ่งเป็นวาระเร่งด่วน ทางผู้รับจ้างต้องดำเนินการให้แล้วเสร็จทั้งหมด ภายใน 3 วัน

ด้านนายชวเลิศ เลิศชวนะกุล ผู้จัดการโครงการฯ กล่าวว่า ในทุกเดือนจากนี้ทางผู้รับจ้างจะต้องมีการรายงานผลความก้าวหน้าของงานเข้ามา ว่าได้ดำเนินการแล้วเสร็จไปในส่วนใดแล้วบ้าง จะมีการสิ้นสุดแต่ละเนื้องานอย่างไร เพื่อเป็นการควบคุมการทำงานของผู้รับจ้างให้แล้วเสร็จเป็นไปตามเป้าหมายที่วางไว้ ก็จะพยายามทำให้ดีที่สุด เพื่อบรรเทาความเดือดร้อนของประชาชน ต่อไป ส่วนกรณีของประชาชนที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากการก่อสร้างโครงการฯ
