เทศบาลตำบลวิชิตร่วมกับเทศบาลตำบลฉลองจัดพิธีปิดค่ายศูนย์ขวัญแผ่นดินด้านผู้ผ่านการอบรมต้องการให้มีการช่วยเหลือด้านอาชีพและด้านการศึกษา จำนวน 19 คน

เมื่อวันที่ 15 มีนาคม  2559  ที่ ศูนย์ขวัญแผ่นดินจังหวัดภูเก็ต ศูนย์ฟุตบอลอนุสรณ์สึนามิภูเก็ต (FIFA) นายสุพจน์ ชนะกิจ นายอำเภอเมืองภูเก็ต เป็นประธานในพิธีปิดค่ายศูนย์ขวัญแผ่นดินจังหวัดภูเก็ต เทศบาลตำบลวิชิตร่วมกับเทศบาลตำบลฉลอง โดยมี นายกรีฑา โชติวิชญ์พิพัฒน์ นายกเทศมนตรีตำบลวิชิต และละส่วนราชการที่เกี่ยวข้องเข้าร่วม

นายสุพจน์ ชนะกิจ กล่าวว่า ศูนย์อำนวยการป้องกันและปราบปรามยาเสพติดจังหวัดภูเก็ต  ได้ร่วมกับเทศบาลตำบลวิชิต เทศบาลตำบลฉลอง ดำเนินงานตามยุทธศาสตร์การแก้ไขปัญหาผู้เสพยาเสพติด ภายใต้ชื่อโครงการแก้ไขปัญหาผู้เสพยายาเสพติดระบบสมัครใจ ค่ายศูนย์ขวัญแผ่นดิน รุ่นที่ 2 จำนวน 60 คนระหว่างวันที่ 2 – 15 มีนาคม 2559 จำนวน 13 คืน 14 วัน โดยแบ่งเป็น 2 ช่วง คือ ช่วงที่ 1 การฝึกอบรมด้านกาย จิต และสังคม 8 คืน 9 วัน และช่วงที่ 2 การฝึกอบรมด้านทักษะการฝึกอาชีพ 4 คืน 5 วัน ซึ่งวิทยากรได้ให้ความรู้ด้านวิชาการ ทักษะการใช้ชีวิต ระเบียบวินัย ตลอดจนการอบรมทักษะการประกอบชีพแก่ผู้เข้ารับการอบรม เพื่อให้สามารถออกไปประกอบอาชีพในชีวิตประจำวันและมีทักษะอาชีพอื่นเพิ่มเติม

จากการสำรวจความต้องการความช่วยเหลือของผู้เข้ารับการอบรม มีผู้ประสงค์ขอความช่วยเหลือเหลือผ่าการอบรมในครั้งนี้ จำนวน 19 คน โดยขอความช่วยเหลือด้านการประกอบอาชีพ จำนวน 9 คน ด้านการศึกษา จำนวน 2 คน และด้านอื่น ๆ จำนวน 8 คน และไม่ต้องการความช่วยเหลือ จำนวน 41 คน
